I am a fan of the series with the 21 experiments for kids. We love the American Revolution book and are looking forward to moving on to the World War 1, Great Depression and World War 2 books. They often have different authors, so you can't judge one book in the series as representative of them all. This one is just VERY dry and very date/fact heavy. The kids can't stay focused and honestly, I can't blame them. It might be great for much older kids, but my middle schoolers were bored senseless. Even the experiments were boring and hard to replicate the correct results. (Multiply by 2,450,000,000 ... My calculator doesn't even allow me to go that high). Not for our family.

Loved it more than kids
I got this book for kids for science week during the summer, but I read the whole this before they did. Many pictures, great stories, and some experiments to stimulate your mind. I may get a different book in the series.

Get this book!!
This is a great book. My 10 yr old son has a school project that requires him to read a book about an important person in history, write a short report and then dress up as the person and pretend to be him while giving the presentation. My son devoured this book. He was so excited to tell me all kinds of facts about Einstein. He is also excited to give the presentation because of all the fun and interesting facts in this book. I highly recommend this for anyone. I picked up the book intending to just scan through it, but was such easy reading I ended up reading the whole thing. Very interesting!!

For adults too
Helped understand Einstein a bit better and relativity. My daughter is only 3 so I read to her from it in sections . She obviously cannot understand all of it now . In my opinion I believe exposing her to science , scientific theories, just books like this in general helps to keep her curiosity growing.

Exactly what I was looking for and more
Though we are still in the process of reading this book, I would highly recommend it. I am a homeschooling mom using this with my 11,9 and 7 year old. The book is very informative and includes little experiments along the way for a hands on experience. My kids have also really enjoyed the pictures included in the book.

Read it Twice
My middle age son has read this book twice now and has shared parts of it with me. Mr. Pohlen is able to explain a complex topic in very understandable terms. I'd recommend this for any kid interested in understanding more about Albert Einstein's Theory of Relativity.

Excelente introducción para niños
Este libro, asi como otros de la colección, está muy bien. Explica de forma amena y sencilla los principios de la teoría de la relatividad tal y como Einstein la concivió. Eso sí, los niños necesitarán un mínimo nivel de inglés.
