Real nice screens
Just installed by a car shop... screens have nice display and these are touchscreen.. all items seem to be good quality... I did email a few questions to seller before purchase and they answered rather quickly... I have screens wired to headunit and tested the hdmi input on the screens with my iphone and all worked fine... the only item left to verify is longevity... in my case I only use headunit DVD so can't comment on the screen dvd player or USB movie viewing as we use ipad and iphone through HDMI screen input.... the screens from power up or boot-up time is quick to me...

Set-Up Is a Giant Headache Every Time You Plug Them In
We purchased these 1.5 months ago from onfair's website. I followed the installation instructions very carefully from the included instructional DVD. Review on performance below:SOUND: With both DVD players linked together playing the same video and both players at the highest volume setting, the volume is too low for kids in the back seat to hear the video. Maybe kids sitting in the seats directly in front of the DVD player can hear it okay, but not an additional row back. The FM radio sound option to play through van speakers have never worked; it's always full of static. The headphones have great sound quality and are very comfortable. However, we have to keep one of the middle-row captain seats folded down in order for kids in the back row to receive the IR signal to their headset; otherwise, the seat blocks the signal and the headphones have no sound. Super frustrating.VIDEO QUALITY: Fine. Nothing more to say about this.EASE OF USE: Terrible. It automatically plays some dvds without bringing up the DVD main menu, and there's no option on the remote for getting back to the dvd main menu, so you lose all dvd menu options. Also, every time you unplug it, the next time you put in a dvd, it automatically plays the dvd with closed captioning, even if the setting is set to have closed captioning off. It also automatically puts the set-up menu in a language other than English, even if it is set to English. So, every time we put in a dvd, I have to go into set-up to change the language and turn off closed captioning. Also, you have to use the remote control for EVERYTHING. The "touch/sensor" options at the bottom of the screen are not at all user-friendly and don't even work most of the time for adults, let alone for kids.MASTER/SLAVE DVD SET-UP: When you link the dvd players together to make one the master and the other the slave (so that they both play the same video), the slave dvd player loses many functioning abilities. You have to be some sort of engineering genius to figure out how and when to turn off the master DVD player to give back master privileges to the second dvd player just to change simple settings (e.g. turning on the headphone setting, turning off the closed captioning setting, turning up volume, etc.). For example, the remote control would work on the Master unit to pull up the set-up menu, but it wouldn't pull up the set-up menu at ALL on the slave unit, because that unit was subject to the master completely. So, in order to change the setting on the slave unit to send an IR signal to the headsets, I had to turn off the master unit, then turn off the slave unit, then wait several seconds before turning ON the slave unit so that it wouldn't register as a slave anymore, THEN I could access the set-up menu with the remote. But, I had to attempt this more than 10 times before it worked correctly. You may be thinking that a simple solution might be simply to unplug the slave from the master. Perhaps. But, we taped all the cords together so they wouldn't come unplugged, and if we hid all the cords so there wouldn't be a giant tangle of cord mess everywhere. If you've done those things, then you MUST depend on the remote control to do for you what you expect it should (like, pull up the set-up menu when you press the "set-up" button).Typically, it takes me 20-30 minutes of sitting in the middle row frustratingly trying to set up the sound settings on each DVD player before I can get each one to send an IR signal to my kids headphones in the correct language and without closed captioning on. We've had the DVD players for 1.5 months now and have used them to play probably 8-10 videos. Even after that many times, and understanding how the master/slave system works and all the weird idiosyncrasies of the set-up, it STILL takes me 20-30 minutes EVERY TIME we plug them back in again after unplugging.RETURNS: They don't accept opened items for return. They only allow returns for defective products within 30 days. Defective products have to be shipped to the repair center (at your expense) to be repaired. If the item is defective, they'll mail you a new one; if not, they mail it back to you. For unopened returns, they charge 20% restocking fee. Consumer pays all shipping costs. Basically, you're STUCK with this product unless you are wise enough NEVER to open it. But, even then, you pay to ship it back and pay a 20% restocking fee.Unfortunately, we spent $300 on a system which has only been a major headache. My husband trusted me to get a good system, and I spent a LONG time researching before I purchased what I thought would be a good one. We're stuck with a system that causes headaches.CONCLUSION: I've given them 2 stars because THEY DO WORK, eventually. They are just a giant pain in the rear end. I WOULD NOT recommend them. Next time, my husband said he'll splurge on the $1500 after-market professional install from the dealer so that all we have to do is insert a dvd, press play, and turn up the sound in the van. I recommend you consider the same thing, unless you have unending patience.
