I use a lot of garlic, like more than anyone I have ever met. I buy fresh heads and chop them up in bulk to store in the freezer. A while ago I started using silicone ice cube trays to portion it out and for ease of storage. That worked fine but the silicone soaked up the garlic smell, and not in a good way.These trays are exactly the right portion size for most of my cooking and if I need more I can always grab another cube. The lids don't fit tightly, but that doesn't really matter. For reference, you can get almost 1 lb of chopped/minced garlic total in the two trays.

I really like these. The ice is small so if you like to eat ice ~ perfect. Also, the cubes pop out so easily. Having the storage bin is a plus too. If you don’t have an ice maker, these are great!

Works for intended purpose and little scoop is a nice touch. Just difficult to get the cubes out of the tray once frozen.

I’m amazed how easy it is to eject ice cubes from these trays. I love their Perfect size for my glass.

Always have ice on hand! The scooper is very convenient!

I liked the bin storage, but it needs an ice tray in it for a lid (dislike). The cubes can be a bit difficult to release. Smaller cubes melt faster. All of that means it's not really suited for heavy use (multiple people per day).

Our fridge is relatively small. It’s not apartment size, but it’s not a side by side two door fridge. We don’t have an ice maker, but we could install one. I was using three to four ice cube trays, but then I saw this. The ice cubes are smaller, but it is easier to refill and the cover is great. Ice cubes don’t smell funny. Sometimes, I take the scooper out if it’s too full. Having two would be best if more people in your family like ice. It is super convenient and smaller ice cubes are nice. I’ll definitely buy one more. Worth the money.
