Every once in a while a book comes out that is so far superior in organization and practical usefulness that it inspires even me to break down and write a review. This wonderful book does all that.My wife and I LOVE this book! It is excellently organized, extremely thorough and complete, colorful, attractive, interesting, and in all ways an exceptionally useful book. Each and every recommended activity (over 200!) has been experienced by the authors and their children, and a useful and accurate description of what to expect is provided in detail. Our grand-kids love that we have this book, because they are able to experience new, age-appropriate fun activities every time they go out with grandma & grandpa, because we have discovered places found in the book that would interest them. We saw this book at our library and had to pick one up for ourselves. Organized by Type of Activity, and then alphabetically within each section, the book provides web contact information, address, phone number, hours of operation, fees, memberships info, discount info, parking info, food availability, and color photos. There is a detailed "What to Expect" section that describes the many activities for each venue. The book also lists an annual event schedule for that location, and it even lists what other activities may be found "Just Around the Corner" from that location. (And “Yes”, you can turn to a descriptions of those listings in the book.) My advice? Get a copy of this book for yourself and for others who have children and grandchildren ready to explore the extended Salt Lake City area. The information covers from Provo to Ogden, and from Park City to Daybreak, all along the Wasatch front!

This book is full of information that helped my family decide which places to visit. It's hard to find venues that will be enjoyed by younger children and teens but this book gave us enough information to know which places we'd all enjoy. Thanks for writing a book that's actually helpful.

Amazing book so many cool ideas for things to do around Utah.

This is a very nice book, lots of full color pictures with lots of things to do in the Salt Lake Area, my married kids are going to love this for planning activities with their families!
