Nothing wrong with this! Its a PWM speed controller so it enables you to control the speed of these little DC gear motors smoothly. I used one on a DIY motorized camera slider/dolly to get the slider moving at the exact right speed and another on a turntable - both worked great. If you want a small 12v motor with speed control then this takes care of the speed control part. The motors I used with it are both the "HOSSEN® 30RPM Mini Gear Box Electric Motor 12V DC 37MM High Torque", and the "RioRand® DC 12V 0.07A 3.5RPM High Torque Gear Box Electric Motor 37mm". Both of these motors are on Amazon as well, so for the price I think its a good deal to get something motorized. They both ship from the USA and arrived fast, so just watch out for the ones that ship from "overseas" that take weeks to arrive - if you are concerned about getting it soon. There's no instructions with it, but there are 4 screw terminals to attach the wires - 2 for the power supply and 2 go to the motor, and once you connect them you have speed control of the motor. One thing worth noting - the screw terminals are not clearly marked when you are looking at it from the angle shown in the image above, but if you see where the screw terminals are and then turn the board upside down you will see it is written on the reverse side under each terminal. If you are going to screw it down before you attach wires its worth writing down which wire goes where as you won't be able to see it once the board is screwed down! Summary, good product for the price.

Works well to adjust speed of my harbor freight rotary tool! 3D printed a case I found on thingiverse! The only noise is from the fan I mounted on top of the case but that’s from the vibrations of the fan. I added felt pads to the bottom of the case to help with that!

Tested a small motor with no load. Throughout the rotation of the pot, motor stalls and jumps in speed. Apparently the potentiometer is dirty and needs cleaning. After the pot is cleaned and the device was tested with numerous motors both brushed and brushless. This device is as good as rated, though efficiency could be better.

I used two of these as a means to control the blowers on my fog setup last Halloween. They did a fantastic job of regulating the blower speed. I mounted them inside a wather tight box for protection. Conection were super easy and they worked flawlesly.

Worked great during tests and for a day. 12v 80 watt fan was too fast and loud, so this was a great way to slow the fan down and quiet its operation. Mounted it and felt good for the first day. Later I noticed the fan was loud/fast, and discovered the cylinders (capacitors?) were too hot to touch. Had to disconnect power supply. After cooling, it just passes full power through and no knob adjustments matter. Not sure what the point of over heat protection was if it just burned out around 6.5 amp on a 10 amp rated PWM controller

Great controller for RV vent fan. Needed a bigger fan to replace the tiny one that came with camper. Big name Vari speed reversible one $95. Single speed exhaust only $60 on promo. So for $8, I converted to a high volume, vari speed exhaust fan for camper bathroom. Easy install. One ⅜ in hole for knob. Plenty of room inside for circuit board and heat sink ventilation. Time will tell, but looks well made for the use it will get.

Running a 12volt muffin fan, 90% of the reastsat does nothing, 0 to full speed in 10% of a turn. Kind of stuck at this point

I did my research to see what I could use to make a heat troller for my heated gear. I ended buying this component. I ran the wires from my motorcycle battery (with an inline fuse seperate from the one shown) to the unit and from the unit to my heated gloves. This controls the temperature just like a regular heat troller from 70 bucks. I boxed it in a container I had laying around the house and mounted discretly on my bike. A little silicon to make it water tight and of I go. When I didn't have this I only used a toggle switch to turn my gloves on and off. This got annoying. My gloves were either too hot or just off. On cold days around 45 degrees going around 60mph a quarter to half power is all I need. I still use a toggle switch to disconnect the unit from the battery becuase to make sure there isn't a parasitic draw. I could have wired it to the ignition but I don't know I will do that since it is getting warmer. It's durable and works as expected.

Das Gerät funktionierte auf Anhieb prima ! Habe es mit verschiedenen Motoren und veränderlichen Spannungen getestet . Also bei diesen Preis unschlagbar ! Ein kleiner Nachteil , es wurde ohne Begleitschreiben oder Beschreibung zugestellt ! Aber bei diesen Preis kann eigentlich nichts passieren.

Petit régulateur électronique , pas cher et qui fonctionne à merveille ! Acheté et testé sur un moteur d'essuie glace Bosch 12 Volt , il régule la vitesse sans brocher et sans chauffer ! Il est de petite taille et rend bien service pour le tourne-broche "maison" que je me suis confectionné avec ! Les repères de branchement "Power +/- et Motor +/- sont indiqués sous le circuit imprimé (on peut pas ce tromper). Un bon produit pour un prix très bas au alentour des 5 Euros .

Ich habe den Drehzahsteller am 21.04 bestellt und am 04.05 erhalten und das von Hongkong sehr schnelle Lieferung.Der Regler macht eine n wertigen Eindruck und funktioniert einwandfrei.Ich regel damit einen 12 V Getriebemotor der einen Grilldrehspieß antreibt, über eine Rollerbatterie. Um den Motor auszuschalten muss allerdings noch ein Schalter verbaut werden,aber bei dem Preis kein Problem.
