Duo - The Best Solid Steel License Plate Frame Bumper Protector (Limited Edition Polished Chrome)

Update: recently bought a new car and this was one of the first purchased I made. I bought this when there were only a handful of reviews so I was a bit nervous but over a year and a half later I still love the product.Previous reviewSaw this on a car at the car wash and was intrigued. I found it on amazon and bought it. It's fantastic. I highly recommend. Definitely heavier than I expected (I consider that a good thing).I live in downtown Chicago and often times have to park on the street and this thing really protects my bumper---I've already gotten some marks on it that I didn't do which means it's already stopped people from "love tapping" my bumper to squeeze in to a spot.One last thing. I ordered two by accident on a Sunday and emailed them to let them know I needed only one and they responded within a couple hours and expedited my shipping for the inconvenience.Bottom line: great product and great customer support. Highly recommend.

Overall is really good.. make the car look even more Mean, really good and solid material. The rubber around the metal though doesn’t stick very much but thats not nothing to worry about. It can be fix and I just wished the corner came out a little bit more, maybe like an inch more on the side I feel like it would protect it more in case when someone back up their cars, the distance still decent will keep this one for now. Really happy with my choice.. now I need something for the rear bumper wasn’t able to get the same protection for the back since my license plate is to high up...

THIS WORKS!Some car getting out of space in front of mines, backed into my car and this bumper saved my car.It held up and actually damaged a little of the other guys car (which he deserves !!!)After the incident, the foam portion loosened but I just taped it back on.Install was easy, the only negative is that the foam parts doesn't stick onto the bumper, but with some black electric tape, it keeps it on and saves my front bumper.

After using a rubber front guard that is fairly beat up after 2 years (NYC drivers can't park to save their lives), I decided to switch to this one from 4Bumpers after seeing one on another car. I'm extremely pleased over the build quality and its relative sturdiness. On the plus side, it gives my car (a 2018 Camaro) a more aggressive look.

This product is very sturdy, construction and design is great. Although it does not protect the side bumpers of your car, it does an awesome job protecting the immediate front of the car. However, it comes with two rubber pieces that are attached to the curve edges of the protector that comes in contact with the other vehicle if comes too close. The adhesives on those two rubber pieces are very poor at sticking to the metallic surface of the protector. I have tried multiple things in trying to keep my to stay on however, it keeps lifting even when stored in a warm garage. my last resort was to wrap tape around it to keep it down but it now looks a bit tacky and does not have that slick look as prior. I wish this could be adjusted or a stronger adhesive provided. Apart from this, i would recommend this protector to anyone especially those living in NYC that main source of parking is on the streets behind thousands of neglegent drivers every day.

Worth it to me. Have the dual vertical bar unit on my 2016 Ford Focus ST. Parallel parking in a residential neighborhood opens me up to all kinds of nonsense by other drivers. I'm sitting here watching some tv when I hear a factory style horn alarm going on. I get this sick feeling it's my car. I cruise out and everything is okay. Except, I see my 4bumpers duo appears to have flat spots on the rubber piece where someone has bumped into it. Checking around the car, checking the bumper and so on and everything seems to be okay. Needless to say, it's tough to say if this event is related or it was someone else's alarm.. but it definitely has saved my bumper. Unfortunately, here's nothing for a Focus that will protect that back bumper. But, the front bumper is totally protected! Only thing I did extra was put some theft resistant screw covers on there so some jack wagon doesn't make off with my bumper protector. :)

Overall, living in New York City this is the best front bumper protector I've tried. It is a solid piece of metal and unable to bend with your bare hands. It doesn't look ridiculous like the other rubber bumper plate guards. The seller is very responsive. When I received the order - it was missing one of the rubber strips but the seller made sent one over right away.

So far so good for my 2012 WRX. I used Totsubo brackets so I didn't have to drill holes in my front bumper. Works great! Also added some easily removable dark paint on the rubber bumper, so if anyone feels the need to bump and run, it will leave a nice mark on the other car. I'll have to keep adding paint, but worth the work for these idiots in Philly that can't parallel park.You can also remove the rubber bumper as another option so it becomes your metal on his/her bumper (I've been bumped more than my fair share if you can't tell).
