Crafthouse by Fortessa Professional Barware/Bar Tools by Charles Joly, Stainless Steel Hawthorne Cocktail Strainer, 5", Silver

I bought this strainer for use with the Hiware 700mL mixing glass, and it fits perfectly. The handle design, with the kink, makes the strainer easy to hold in place, even for my smaller hands. It works flawlessly, it's gorgeous, and it was reasonably priced... can't ask for more than that.

I am giving it 3 stars because it is the second one I order. I love the first one so much, I use it daily in my kitchen to strain. I wanted one just for the bar and decided to order a second one, the second one is stained with a gray haze and has a black mark as you can see pictured. I ordered a replacement and hope that it is the same quality as the first one I purchased.

These are pretty great. I am a career bartender. I was looking for a hawthorne that was a slightly different style from my coworkers and would not get mixed up with other tools in the dish sinks. We have to provide our own bar tools for work. Actually got a few of them. Fits well in my work station.

I was looking for an affordable Julep strainer for my stirred drinks, and this strainer does that. It perfectly fits my cocktail mixing glass, and the little bend in the handle helps keeping it in place.
