The media could not be loaded. I have wanted to learn tap dancing for some time now and decided this summer would be it! I went Amazon and looked for Capezio because as a dancer for 10 years I knew those are usually the best quality. They were true to size fit and surprisingly comfortable. They are easy to put on and when you know how to use them right (lol) make a nice crisp sound. I also wanted black because I though it more look more sleek and I do not regret my decision. I’ve only had them for a couple weeks but so far have not noticed any wear or tear. The box they arrived in looked in bad shape but the shoe itself looked absolutely brand new. I can only speak from a beginners experience but I would say they are a great tap shoe for the price.

Beginner tap dancer here!! Shoes fit true to size and felt great in my first tap class ever! Did not hurt my feet! Quality seems good as well!

These shoes are great tap shoes. Half the price of dance websites. The fit is hard. I have 2 daughters who needed the shoes. One daughter wears a 1 or 1.5 street shoe and the 1.5 fit her mostly perfectly with the heel slipping just a bit. My other daughter is 11 years old and wears a 5 street shoe a s the 5.5 was too small. I exchanged them for a 6.5 which for perfectly. The exchange was quick and easy. Just be ready to try a few sizes before finding the perfect fit.

I recently signed up for an adult tap class and needed new shoes, as the last time I tapped was over 30 years ago. I didn’t want to spend a ton, but also wanted to feel sure that I’d get a quality pair of shoes, so I was happy to find this well-priced Capezio pair.Tap shoes have gone up in quality in the last 30 years…these are SUPER comfortable! The leather is soft and I haven’t had any issues with rubbing.Based on other reviews, I ordered a half size up from my typical size. It works, but I do need a slightly thicker pair of socks because they are a tad roomy. I think I would have been just fine ordering my regular size.

They are such good quality and they are so comfy. They are also affordable for a tap shoe.

I love the taps they are clear in sound and shoe fits I can’t wait to try them in class the wedge heel is going to take time to get use too but I love them

I ordered two pairs of the same tap shoe to get an accurate size. I ordered an 8 and 8.5 in women's from the same listing. I got the 8.5 first which had a leather bottom and had adjustable tap screws as seen in the pictures on line. I just got the 8 which came in a different box, has a totally different bottom (its black plastic) and the tap screws are rivets and can't be adjusted. Nevermind all of that, but the shoe is marked 8W (I didn't order a wide) and when I compare it to the 8.5, it is a full inch and a half longer. The shoe has completely different stitching and is clearly a cheap knock off.

These shoes proved to be true to size for me. They are good quality and I love the style. I made the perfect choice by ordering this particular shoe/brand!

These tap shoes are so much more comfortable than my previous ones, which were a different make and style. The uppers are leather and the insoles are cushioned so they are well worth the extra cost, in my opinion. I take a shoe size 5.5 wide fitting and bought a size 6 tap shoe. They fit well. The laces could do with being slightly longer but that's not a big problem.
