Kitty School (Gabby's Dollhouse: Scholastic Reader, Level 1)

My daughter isn't at the "correct" Speaking level as other 5 year olds. So maybe this book will be an easy book to help learn to read. I use it for practice reading and not "sound this word out and tell me what you think it is" teaching her to read. But she will sometimes mimic me so ill read a bit slow and help her follow with her pointer/finger/marker etc to hopefully remember the words and then we'll switch books.I think there are maybe 2 pages that have more/most sentences. So maybe 3 or 4 but the other pages are short and to the point. It is paper back, maybe 6 stickers, no place to actually use the stickers in the book

My daughter loves Gabby's dollhouse, so when I saw this book go on sale, it was a must.

Good

It says it is a Level One reader but the words are not easy enough for a young reader especially the Gabby Cat names. It is a fun Gabby Cat related item that encourages a child to improve her new reading skills but would need to be read aloud numerous times before child tries to read this book by themselves.

My granddaughter asked for a Gabby book, and w enjoyed reading this together. Cute story and good for teaching reading.

My daughters hadn’t even seen the show but love kitties so she picked this book anyways. She loves it!
