This is one of the few nice quality, pretty, and well sized cages for hamsters on Amazon. I really like how they incorporated customer feedback to change the top cover to mesh instead of large gaps for the hamster to escape, and the design looks amazing to have a full view of your pet. However it is not without its design flaws. Though different in the video, some of the screws come already screwed in the acrylic. This results in either already existing cracks, or when attempting to remove them to peel the protective layer of the acrylic away, will result in you completely ripping apart the hole. Also the video fails to mention that four screws need to secure the bottom. Despite these flaws, I think this is the best bang for your buck as a great looking and humanely sized hamster cage.

I cannot stress this enough..DO NOT BUY! I had this cage for under a month and immediately my hamster started chewing on the corners and scratching at the bottom of the cage. I tried adding more bedding, tunnels, hideouts and she would not stop. I’m not sure if that is just her personality or what but either way the cage did not hold up. She chewed a hole through the bottom and got out. There was other animals in the house so who knows what could’ve happened to her while she was out of her cage. If you take anything from these reviews DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CAGE.

We have had this for a couple of months now, and we love it! We use it as a sleeping space for a hedgehog that keeps her safe from the cats but retains heat like a bin cage. We love it so much we plan to purchase more! And she seems to like it much more than her much larger grid setup, and will actually use the wheel in this one. Access is also super easy, it has surpassed expectations.Plus it is super friggen cute!

The holes to part of the cage didn’t line up so that was a pain. But luckily my boyfriend used a drill and fixed it other than that it’s an amazing cage!

Was a decent cage until hamster went missing. Chewed through brand new carpet and now we need to buy a new cage. Waste of money. Avoid and stick with a traditional cage to avoid wasting money like I did. Also get to repair new carpet due to the ineffectiveness of this cage

The wood is less dense than I expected but overall it looks good and I love the curved edges on the top cover. My hamster peed on the edge of the cage, causing the wood to get wet. I’ll have to see if the wood changes color, starts to smell, or break down.

very difficult to assemble and clean - the frame broke when we cleaned it 2 days shy of return date.Dont buy!!!
