PentelEnerGel NV Gel Ink Pen, 1mm, Barrel, Black Ink, Dozen (BL30A)

I like bold, but this was just a tad too bold for me. The ink flow is a bit too much. If you enjoy a bold point and heavier ink, this is great. I normally order bold or larger point pens, but this one was not quite right for me. However, I am extremely particular about writing instruments, and if you are not, then this is a great pen, generally speaking.

I swore by the Pilot 1.0 pens I used to buy at Costco, but after I left some in my car, the heat expanded the barrel so that the caps no longer can click closed. Then I switched to these. The 0.7 line is plenty bold enough--now 1.0 feels way too thick. The cap stays shut! And they're slimmer than the Pilot 1.0 but still feel great in hand.

I use these for work and I love them! The ink is dark and makes things stand out. Well worth the purchase 👌

How clean it was for a gel pen.

1 mm. Love it. Nice flowing ink. These are the only pens I use. For those who have suits or expensive clothing, a cap is a must since a push button will inevitably depress in your shirt or suit pocket and a cap keeps the pen upright (the ink at the bottom of the chamber) and not ready to leak onto your clothing. For those uninitiated to fraudsters - gel is the way to go. In fact gel pens were invented by the man who was depicted by Leonardo DiCaprio in "catch me if you can" because of the inherent inability to "mess around" with the signature. (Pun intended). Better than any fancy pen. I only wish these sized inserts could fit in a fancy housing.

I love this gel pen. It rarely, if ever, smears across paper. Writes smooth. I use them literally everyday. Sometimes I wonder if there should be more ink in it, but then I realize I do write pages and pages of notes and information and it lasts for a while. It writes very smoothly and never skips. For now, this is my perfect pen and the only kind I'll be buying for a while. Definitely worth it.

Both my wife and I are confirmed users of the Pentel EnerGel NV pen. This pen writes like the finest fountain pen, without the separate bottle of ink. The cap has the clip, so you can't put it in a pocket without the cap covering the tip, no possible ruined shirt from a "forgot to click it in" accident.

I went to all the brick and mortar stores and could not find these anywhere except the one I found on the street . (Really) Great pen, many colors. Enjoy writing with them.Of course like many things, I found it on amazon. I will have them for a long time, and I still want a purple one, but I really highly recommend these pens. Make sure you get the ones that don't have the "retractable clip,. These feel better in my hands against the others. Enjoy!
