Rovor Chill-Solo Backpacking Camping Hammock with Quadruple Stitching, Includes Tree Hammock Straps and Carabiners | Great 1 Person Hammock

In September 2017 I bought this hammock. It is now October 31st 2022. Today, after using for over 5 years, it finally got a big rip in it. I have honestly and literally laid in this thing for multiple hours every single days during the 5 years I’ve had it. It’s the best hammock ever. I’m sad it’s ripped. But I bought the same one a few years ago as a backup because I knew this day would one day come.

I have to say that I was very impressed with this hammock. Upon opening it, I realized that the tree straps where inside of the stuff sack (plenty of room in the stuff sack for the hammock and straps). The hammock itself seems to be made of good quality material that seems like it is holding up well so far. This hammock was also a little larger than one I purchased from a big box retailer which seems to make it more cozy for me to hang out in as a 6ft tall person. The only thing I was not entirely sold on were the carabiners that were included. Being the screw locks instead of the spring or twist lock, does make it a little harder to remove once they have been placed under pressure. That being said, they are defiantly better than nothing, and I can not complain about something that was included when I purchased a hammock not carabiners. I will be ordering another one of these for my wife.

Got this to repurpose as a hunting seat but after trying it out between a couple of floor support posts in the basement I found not only was it a good seat but a very comfortable hammock. Going to order another. It's strong, lightweight, and with the included straps and carabiners it's a real good deal.

Great hammock. Took it camping and hardly got to use it because the rest of my family was busy fighting over who got in next. Seems to be good quality gear. The only small draw back I have found is that I am not a big fan of the carabiners that attach the hammock to the straps. I don't like the screw function of the carabiner. It's a minor detail though on an otherwise great product.

I live in Michigan, which means we have INSANE weather! I'm talking in the upper 60's one day and well below freezing the next. So that means I haven't been able to use it yet (I can't seem to convince the hubsters to allow me to put eye screw thingy do's in the framing studs) but it seems to be very high quality. As for the 500 lbs weight capacity, I'm a healthy six foot Amazon woman that weighs over half the indicated weight limit. I will also test it while holding my two dachshund tanks and also with my lightweight hubs. I will update my review later. I really hope this ends up being an amazing quality hammock as I love relaxing in them in the warmer weather. I also love to have them when we go camping, to the cabin and for when we go hiking/backpacking and boating. If anything happens, God forbid, we will have something other than the ground and a shelter.
