I wrongly assumed the “pillow” would be soft like a cushion. While it is soft and somewhat flexible, this neck supporting pillow is more like a gym mat than a cushion, if that makes sense. Which is not at all unpleasant! It’s not meant to be slept on, anyway, but to support you if you’re working on neck posture. Great to use if you work at a computer for long stretches of time. Gives me some relief, if I lie down with it for occasional 5 minute breaks.I will also note that I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package, to see that the pillow comes in a carrying case, and that an eye mask and ear plugs were included. Very thoughtful!

Pretty solid product especially for the price. I work on a computer for most of the day and this works wonders as a neck stretcher to relieve the pressure on my neck and shoulders.

The relaxer comes in various colors. I opted for dark blue. It arrived in a zipped carrying case with a handle and contained the pillow, and eye mask, ear plugs in their own case, and instructions for use. I immediately followed instructions, laid face-up on the floor with knees bent, arms raised beside my head, and pillow under my neck. It’s not soft, but it’s firm and yet comfortable. This gives my neck the support and positioning it needs for tension release. I didn’t use the eye mask or ear plugs but I can see how those would aid in relaxation if needed. I will use this a few times a week after a long day.

This neck stretcher has a great range of motion. And is perfect for pain relief. It’s especially great for neck pain as well as shoulders pain. I like that it is easy to travel with and has its own little carrying bag and eye mask included. I’m personally going to recommend to family and friends. I think it’s very beneficial and I use it for about 15-30 minutes a day. Overall, I think it’s a good product and I look forward to continuing to use it.

I could not use this it was very hard on my neck

The item feels very good quality, comes with a nice blindfold, some earplugs in a case, and a handy storage bag for everything. The presentation is excellent but I have not been able to figure out how to position myself properly or how to use the item in general. I have some nerve and muscle issues in my upper shoulder/back area and maybe this is an inappropriate item for that but I thought perhaps aligning my spine might relieve some of that pressure. Following the directions, I've tried laying on this on the carpet and also on my bed and in both instances, I feel like it puts too much pressure on the base of my skull even as it loosens my neck. Whether I roll up a big higher or lower on the 'pillow' I still cannot find a comfortable position. As other reviewers mentioned, perhaps it takes time but I am scared to try because I've noticed some of the upper back issues again recently and cannot tell if it is coincidence. I imagine this pillow works much better for people with more specific spinal/vertibrae issues than what my problem is and in concept I feel it could be quite beneficial. If you suffer from those chronic pains it certainly is worth trying as it is not a major financial investment should it not pan out for you.Upon further consideration and use of product I decided to add a star as I did not think it fair to dock the product 2 stars for my possibly using it for a condition it was not necessarily designed for.

I've been having daily spasms in my right trapezius muscle, extendimg from the back of my neck down to bottom of my shoulder blade. (It's probably from my poor posture at sitting all day at my desk, both at work and while studying.) Every other night I would only sleep 2-3 hrs due to the pain. I started using this 2-3 times a day for 10-15 minutes each, and my neck and upper back spasms have improved enough that I can sleep soundly 6 out of 7 nights a week. The pain comes back once or twice a week, but it's much better with the cervical stretches this foam pillow provides.FYI I wasn't paid for this review - I purchaed this on a whim and I hope others can find the level of pain relief I have using this foam pillow.

Painful!!

I don't like that this neck stretch is not soft. A soft pad would make this more comfortable. However it relieves some neck pain.

We are using this for my son's neck (he has a large hump) and very poor posture and I'm using this to help with some neck and shoulder pain. We both take turns using this for 5 mins a couple of times a day. Feels good and stretches my neck. Make sure to keep looking up at the ceiling. I also find if you keep your feet flat on the floor with your knees up, it helps keep your head in position (try both ways and you can feel the difference).

I've never owned the original, although it does seem as the original is taller and has more flex. Only time will tell if this helps my posture. My neck aND HEAD DID FALL ASLEEP WHEN I USED THIS IN BED X2.iT WAS FINE WHEN I WAS JUST ON A HARD SURFACE.

I don't exactly know how this is supposed to feel. I have other pillows and all as well. But this one is extremely stiff and I feel too large for my neck. I really suspect that anything medially approved could be one-size-fit-all. I'm not sure now if I want to keep using it or not because it really feels uncomfortable.

I thought it would be a bit softer. It’s very hard, with little give. Uncomfortably hard. Gives me a headache a bit. I prefer using a thin pillow and folding it. I don’t want to use it and might buy the softer and bigger light blue foam version. Also, the colour looks black? Was supposed to be blue. I don’t care for the colour. It’s smaller than I expected. Have seen bigger ones. Since I didn’t pay much for it, not going to bother returning it. Not worth the hassle.
