Kind of works
Really flakey reads with an iPhone 14 Pro, works most of the time but I wouldn’t rely on it for anything super critical personally.

MFA works with websites and services on Android, but requires NFC reader for Windows
First off, if you are not familiar with MFA, Fido2, U2F, WebAuthn, this product is not for you. For those that are looking for a physical MFA security key with NFC support, the Cryptnox FIDO2 Security Key Smartcard is a reasonably priced option. There is no user manual or even documentation on the Cryptnox website, so this product is not for those new to MFA security keys but for advanced users, this barebone is ideal. To see what websites or services support hardware security keys, specifically U2F/WebAuthn which the Cryptnox supports, the 2FA.directory is one of the better resources.Surprisingly, none of the Canadian Banks support hardware security keys for MFA, instead relying on their own app or phone/SMS. However, there are many services that do support hardware MFA like this Cryptnox card. The main issue is this card only supports NFC, so it's ideal for mobile apps and services. Android does support WebAuthn in the Chrome browser, but I don't think Safari in iOS does. If you use a website or service in both Windows and Android, the problem is your Windows device requires an NFC reader to be able to authenticate. This is not an issue with USB based security keys that you can just plug into your Windows laptop. However, a USB key is more cumbersome to use with Android compared to just tapping your phone on the Cryptnox card via NFC. Cryptnox does sell an affordable NFC reader, but just be aware of these challenges when going with a hardware security key that only supports NFC.I tried using the Cryptnox card with my NordPass password manager and it was very simple to register the card and use it do the MFA. I did notice that NordPass did the MFA authentication via Chrome, instead of in the Android app but it did work quickly and smoothly. My problem is I didn't have a NFC reader for Windows laptop so couldn't get into NordPass there. However, since I primarily used NordPass on my mobile, it wasn't a big issue and I do plan on purchasing the Cryptnox NFC reader in the near future.

Unless you already know exactly how to use this key card, good luck
This isn't an easy product to review, and I'll explain. This Cryptnox key card is to add another layer of security as a physical 2FA card via NFC. This offers greater protection than text or email 2FA, and I was excited to try it, as I tend to harden my digital security as much as possible. One thing I did check on is whether this card is actually FIDO approved, and it is, which gives some credibility (and piece of mind). But that's where the good part ends. The card comes in a nice looking package, but there are no instructions, no writing at all, other than the Cryptnox branding. Not even a QR code to get instructions. So I go on the Cryptnox website and try to see if I can find some information about how to set up this particular card, and the products page errors out. So... I'm left with a key card that includes no instructions and no way of knowing how to actually set up *any* of the features it offers. In contrast, look at a competing product like YubiKey, and you'll get very detailed instructions and resources on how to setup and best use their physical 2FA devices. That's how it should be, especially for an individual or company who is just getting started in their multi-factor authentication journey.

Listing shows it with card reader, but it is not included.
First of all, the listing shows this with the Cryptnox card reader in the photo. It doesn't come with that, just the card. That means I can't use it. None of my PCs have NFC. It doesn't trigger any NFC response from my Android phone. The last insult here is that the product comes with absolutely no documentation or instructions of any kind and if you go to their web site looking for some guidance you'll leave disappointed as I couldn't find any there either. Assuming you can get this working, you'll need to buy two or at least one other hardware key because you should always have a backup in case of loss. They really need to work on the customer experience with their cards.
