The Excalibur Deception: An Archaeological Thriller (Adrian West Adventures) Paperback – June 2, 2022

This author has a great way to get the reader involved. You feel like you are racing along with the characters to save the world. I love the way he places his story around archeological history. Can’t wait for more to come!!

Enjoyed reading this book, gave it four stars because it leans so heavily on action, by the second book I was hoping for more character development concerning Adrian and Nick. I do think both books one and two would make interesting films.

Great novel! Loved the story, but I do one minor complaint. In the last novel, Nick was clearly her partner and her equal. This time around he has been demoted to side- kick with few limes, and other than dreaming of Adrian we get little contribution from him this go.The dynamic has changed, and now in a good way. There is no reason to take that character’s strength away from him.While I still give the story five stars, the change in tone makes me want to give it a TWO.

An absolute thriller! This fast paced adventure with Adrian and Nick will keep you entertained from cover to cover. I highly recommended this book and will continue to follow the series. The first was a blockbuster as well!

I rarely rate a book at a 3. I assigned this rating based upon the 1st book in the series. This novel seemed stale compared to the 1st book. I plan to give the next book a try.

Liked the characters, the action and plot twists.Having studied some of the Arthurian legends, I found much of it intriguing as it was woven into the storyline.I understood that Excalibur and the sword in the stones were two different things.

An awesome adventure, full of intrigue and action. The storyline was loaded with plot twist and turns. I like the characters, finding them well defined and easy to get behind. I really like this book and I highly recommend it.
