Y'all, there are few things that gripe me more as a big & tall guy than to have to try and deal with the typical size clothes hangers from the big box stores when dealing with clothing with broad shoulders and larger collars. Enter the Hanger Central recycled offering as the perfect solution for an affordable way to handle your clothing in a way that will keep you looking sharp--no more slouchy or dimpled shoulders, no more stretched collars, etc.My box of 50 did have 2 cracked hangers despite no box damage but here's the good thing about the Hanger Central folks: they actually over-ship to allow for such things that might sneak by, so I actually received 55 hangers and still ended up with 53 good ones after I tossed the damaged units.Of course the final cool thing about this purchase is that you're recycling the hangers by making the purchase/re-use in addition to getting a far better product than you'd fid in the typical big box retailer. A win-win for all and exactly why I would recommend these to anyone who may ask.

I got these because of the size for some 3- and 4X shirts; shirts that size are heavy, and smaller hangers leave bad marks. While these are indeed as big as stated (19 inch) which is great to combat hanger marks, I don't call them heavy duty. They aren't even as sturdy as regular molded plastic hangers. They are more like a less-sturdy version of the hangers they use in clothing stores and sometimes give you for free. I have a few of those, and they are more durable. The hangers actually flex sideways they are so thin. So I feel like I paid for something I get a better version of for free.But I do give it the 4 stars for the size, and for being otherwise more or less as described. I may try taping two together & see if that works, though I think the spinning hook part may not lend itself to that configuration.If you're hanging something big and lightweight (dress shirt maybe?) you'll probably be fine. Anything as heavy as a 3X short sleeve polo shirt is going to challenge it, and I wouldn't even try a long sleeve one. Just keep this in mind when seeing if these might meet your needs.

They feel very sturdy. Perfect size for hubby’s big shirts.

I wear 3XLT T-shirts,I put them in the dryer for about 20 minutes on wrinkle free and then finish drying them on these hangers.The shirts look like they were done in the laundry.

I’m weird because I prefer plastic hangars. Biggest complaint is they break easily actually had 2 broken upon receiving shipment.
