Bought this to attach to my Kingston Arms Type XIV Arming Sword.It fit the scabbard nicely, but I did have to punch one hole in the bottom strap to make it fit the way I wanted.The belts are all quite secure. The weight is great and the leather is surprisingly thick. Highly recommended.

Not the finest quality in the world but absolutely great on pricing. Looks sturdy enough to use for what I need it for. If you want one that’s gonna be used constantly and a long period of time I would probably find a different one.

I've only just used this to test my sword for a Halloween costume and I'm very happy with it.I wasn't sure when I ordered it how it would look but I think it looks okay. I bought it as I could adjust the loops that hold the scabbard in place. I wasn't sure with some of the other's listed on Amazon and as I've never bought one of these before I thought it would give me the most flexability.For the price I don't think you can go wrong.

I purchased a type-XIV Italian arming sword from SBG earlier this month and was looking for a frog for it. This frog is shaped exactly as I hoped. The sword carries out more horizontally than vertically, making a pull from the hilt much easier. Happily for me, its color is also exactly the same color as my scabbard, so it looks quite good together. The straps are generously long, and the excess is easily tucked away to create a clean look. The leather itself seems strong and the stud connectors are strong (if somewhat understated), although time will tell if they stay that way.My only quibble is with the buckles, which are very cheap. One of the buckle prongs actually broke as I was fastening it around the scabbard. Amazon quickly sent a replacement frog, and this time I figured out which holes to use first, fastened the buckles, and then slid the frog up as far as I could along the scabbard in order to relieve pressure on the prongs during the tightening phase. I would rather have seen some strong brass buckles rather than cheap stamped-out metal buckles of indeterminate origin -- given how nice the rest of the frog is, it's kind or like ordering a nice rib-eye and having it served with canned mushrooms. If the buckles were better, I would have given this five stars.

The one I received appears to be real leather and the adjustable straps are a nice additive touch. You can put most any sword you own in it that's less than 4 inches in diameter. It's kind of hard to adjust the tiny buckles though they're pretty durable for being so small.

I didn't know if it was going to hold up a scabbard that was made of fake leather or not. But low and behold it is doing a wonderful job at even that, the scabbard holds the heavy sword and would have normally busted by now. From what I learned from my past sword purchases this frog I would definitely recommend to anyone

The sword frog itself is decent. However, the estimated delivery when I ordered this was two days. After I placed the order, two days passed and the manufacturer hadn't even put my order on a truck to ship.Even despite that, I liked the frog so much I ordered a second. I paid for express one day shipping though. That didn't make a difference. Still, the manufacturer didn't even put anything on a truck for TWO WEEKS. Took three for the first to ship, the second still hasn't arrived.UPDATE: Three weeks later, I still don't have the second item I ordered. It's been "out for delivery" for three days. This is absolutely ridiculous. This manufacturer is a joke.Don't trust the predicted delivery. It will take three weeks.
