I think so. If I’m not mistaken. If it’s to hang pots and pans I believe you can as long as there is a opening to clip and hang. Now there are made of aluminum so keep weight in mind.

Odd question, but are these big enough to use as shower curtains?

The clip only opens ~1/2 inch, which is less than the standard shower rod, so I don't think would work as show curtain rings.

Does it come with a ring that can be used to slot in keys? Like a key chain?

No. You could certainly put a ring on the carabiner and slide keys onto it but this item is quite sturdy and large so keys will not slide over it.
