Works great with Gullet Sticks
I have 3 Chihuahuas. My biggest fear is choking since we lost their mom that way. Our issue is their sizes as well. They are litter mates but you wouldn't know it by their sizes. We have a 3lb, a 4.7 & our chonky boy weighs in at 13lbs! So finding something that works for all of them is a challenge.Well these are perfect! Even the teacup picks hers up and hauls it around. I had to smear some peanut butter in the cups to get them started but once they figured it out, it was game over. I do keep an eye on them, once in a while they can still pull one out, but that's usually our chonky boy, he's persistent 😂I have no issues removing the pieces once they gnaw them down. I just grab some needle nose pliers and pluck it out. Some break apart and come out on pieces, I just make sure I get all of it. I then wash them off and let them dry thoroughly.I suggest Gullet sticks over bullies since they are wider and less fatty. But to each their own 🤷🏼♀️

Hard to get chew sticks out.
Purchased these because my frenchie loves to swallow his bully sticks. They work well for that but it’s very hard to get the portion out that goes into the holder. But did get them out with a screw driver.

Not for aggressive chewers
It was very difficult to get a bully stick in the opening. My pup pulled it write out. She also demolished the toy, chewing large chunks off of it.

The dogs love them
They lick until all the peanut butter is gone and they usually devour the bully stick fast but this makes them slow down a little. My only disappointment was our favorite bully sticks are too big for them.

This product is not durable for heavy chewers or enrichment loving dogs
Both of my dogs enjoyed them while they lasted. But it is not durable for any age I have a 3 year old Aussie as well as a 8 month old Aussie . these bully stick holders didn’t last long.

Rubbers falls apart - dangerous
Firstly, it takes a lot of strength to even get the bully stick in the thing (nearly impossible to get the nubs out after).Secondly and more importantly, the rubber of the avocado “pit” breaks off into little pieces that my dog could accidentally digest in trying to go for the chew. This is not safe.

Good holder for medium to large chews
We like this solution for both bulky sticks and Himalayan cheese sticks. Once the dogs get the chew stick down to where they are tempted to chew the whole thing in their mouth, we put the chews in this and they can chew it further and probably safer. All three of our dogs figured out how to use it (by holding the long end of the "avocado" with one paw) almost immediately. And the color helps identifying it at cleanup time. Not too effective for the real thin sticks, but those are not as much of a choking concern. And it's cute (who doesn't love a bit of whimsy?!)!

Good product for the cost
I got this product for my standard Australian Labradoodle to hold her bully sticks while she chews. I like that the opening for that part is the perfect size to hold onto the bully stick. My dog ended up tearing up the round nut part of the avocado trying to get the nub of the bully stick out. That was in 1 chew session. It still functions for its purpose. Plus has that extra grooved section to add some added treat/flavor. Aside from the nut part of the avocado, the rest feels pretty durable, we’ve only had it for a few days, so hopefully holds up. Depends how determined of a chewer you have.
