Finally--a high power BEC that's waterproof!
I love this thing! I previously had the non-waterproof version in my E-Maxx running two high voltage servos, but I wanted a fully waterproof truck. Now I have over 550 oz-in of torque and my BEC doesn't struggle to keep up. It will take up to 12s direct voltage so there's almost nothing you can't hook it up to. With up to 15 amps, this thing could run high voltage servos, a winch, and full light kit without breaking a sweat. Best of all, it's absolutely tiny! You could mount this anywhere. It's about half the size of the previous non-waterproof BEC and it's got a solid aluminum case. I bet this thing is virtually indestructible. Just hook it up to Castle Link and select your output voltage.I loved this so much I bought a second one! This one went in my crawler. There is a tiny bit of flickering from my LEDs when I turn the servo, but I have 13 LEDs on the truck and two of them are high power so that's a pretty big draw. I'm also using a high torque Savox power hogging servo and one fan. Compared to the stock 5-amp BEC on my ESC, it makes a huge difference.

Looks Great
Great product and happy with it. I have one issues and not sure if it's the item or my receiver. When I select 6V out, my receiver would time out and disconnect from my transmitter. But taking it down to 5.5, everything seems to be working. Waiting for information from CC.

Multi-purpose
This works very well as a BEC. I have two of them. One of them was put to work as a servo battery on a very large servo that I used to convert a Minn kota trolling motor to radio control.

Great product
Worth the little extra for the waterproofing. It been completely submerged and sprayed down with the hose after every run without issues!! Nice not to worry if I did a good enough job waterproofing anymore!!

Solid piece of electronics.
Exactly what I needed for my 2.0 Revo. I programmed mine with the Castle Blue Link. The wires it comes with are plenty long too.

Nice, but overpriced
Luckily I had the link cable already for my ESC. However, this thing is way overpriced for what it is. There are much cheaper options out there for a DC-DC Buck (that's what a BEC is).If you do not already own the link cable this is definitely not worth it. For that matter Everything Castle Creations is a premium. Especially when you can get some 'knock offs' that are in fact made in the same exact factory ;after hours; and simply not stamped Castle. You just have otot do your homework. That or buy just HobbyWing.
