I need two more panels -just ordered another pack- to finish my 3 door project. (You’ll need two packs for one interior door.)These panels definitely help with sound reduction but do not “sound proof”. Our home office has hardwood floors and three hollow interior doors which all had a 1.5inch gap on the bottom. The noise could flow effortlessly in and out of this room. Reviewing all of my options and cost comparisons, I settled on these panels. They look nice and cost a fraction of some other sound reducing options.I cut the panels to hang below the bottom door line to minimize the 1.5 inch gap and each panel is cut to cover just outside the door to fill the gap to the door frame. I had fresh blades and a long metal ruler which helped tremendously. The only hassle was the round doorknobs which only added a little extra precision.

Haha! The label says "fire prevention" and I hoped that meant "vaguely fire resistant", but actually it must mean "you better practice fire prevention because these are straight-up polyester and will burn like a tire fire". I held a lighter to the edge of one for half a second, took it away, and the panel easily burned on its own. Since I want to install these next to my fireplace the difference is kind of important. But they do look good. And seem like effective absorbers. I guess if you don't plan on using these near an open flame I recommend them!
