Over the past 30 years I have owned at least four sets of battery powered salt and pepper mills. Up until these, they have been tall and had button at the top to press. In addition, the small reservoir was located beneath the batteries and the motor housing, above the grinding unit, and held only a few tablespoons of either sale or pepper. The mill was finished at the bottom with a cap that cover the port. If the cap was not removed, a collection of salt or pepper was captured by the cap. When the cap was lost, little grains of salt or flakes of pepper were left where ever the mills has been sitting before use.This unit uses AAA instead of AA batters. They are lighter. The reservoirs are larger. The reservoir door is transparent and can be difficult to open. The mill's port is at the top. The mill is fitted with a slide switch that 1) can be used to start and stop the grind, or 2) can be set so that when the mill is tilted sufficiently, the grind begins. It i s easy tp adjust the grind with a large knurled knob in the top center. There is no cap to forget to remove or forget where it was last seen.

Exactly as described. Nice smooth feel. I ordered the wood grain version and it looks sleek, and smooth. the grinder comes on right out of the box and it adjusts to fine or coarse easily. they sit in the chraging station easily and do not take up alot of space. the only downside is the carpartment isn't very big to fill up your peppercorns and not easily filled, but that is not a big deal for the appearance, value and simplicity of use.

These are cute and work well! I think it would be nice as a housewarming gift to a friend or co worker ect as it’s affordable. I would also buy the salt and peppercorns to go in it as it was hard for me to find some in store after I bought.

These grinders are great except for the really hard sliding plastic part that opens for the spices to be put in. I for the life of me couldn’t get it open just by sliding it with my fingers as seen in some of the videos people posted I had the same problem. It’s so hard! I finally found a good technique! I put a jar grip over it (one of those silicone grip things to open hard tops of jars) it has to be a thin one! And then I slid a butter knife over it using the knife and jar grip to push against the lip of the slider and boom it popped off no problem! Otherwise I would have returned them!

I bought this for my 83-year-old mom who has difficulty seeing and has arthritis in her hands this is a game changer. It’s so easy for her to salt and pepper Her food. All she has to do is tip it over and a blue light shines on the food and the mechanism works. just tipping it down when you want to season and you turn it right side up again it stops automatically. My mom loves this and it’s so pleased with it. I highly recommend it.

They are really nice, I tried out the setting I wanted and gave what it was supposed to. The labels came with it and easy to use.

These work well, seem plenty powerful, and are really nice when only one hand is available for seasoning. It is foreseeable that more will be purchased for gifts. No idea yet on battery life but with the occasional usage i would think it will be some time before they need replacement.

Ça disait 4 piles incluses, mais il en fallait 8 et aucune pile n'était inclus.

Die Batterien müssen nicht zusätzlich gekauft werden und halten nach dem Aufladen sehr lange. Mahlgrade sind gut und individuell einstellbar. Befüllen ist sehr einfach und unkompliziert. Auf jeden Fall Kaufempfehlung.

Con uno switch per accendere o spegnere la funzione.-La luce blu, può sembrare una minchiata, come lo credevo io, e invece vi aiuta tantissimo a capire dove già avete messo il prodotto perchè lo fa risaltare.-La punta è girevole in modo da poter scegliere quanto fine o grosso macinare il prodotto-Lo scompartimento trasparente che vi fa vedere quanto prodotto è rimasto, si può smontare, rendendo molto semplice il refill.Lato negativo:- Come riportato da altri utenti, il sensore di gravità funziona, ma il problema a arriva quando riportate la punta verso l'alto, perchè il motore si disattiva dopo 1 secondo, questo fa si che continui a macinare e che va a finire all'interno della punta.....non è un grave danno, ma non è molto bello da vedere, e la piccola spazzola che vi viene fornita non è di tutta questa utilità. Questo in alcuni momento vi fa preferire un classico pulsante che azioni il motore.
