Just got this today. I wanted a magnetic kickstand that would allow me to stand my phone both upright or “portrait” and sideways or “landscape” and thus bad boy does the trick. I use a wireless car charger that rests flat against the back of my phone so it’s key to have something removable. All the other kickstands/ rings / pop sockets I have looked at are either adhesive and/or not removable or obtrusive to my charger. In short, this is working great for my set up and I am pleased. I can’t attest to durability since it’s only the first day, but the unit is entirely metal, not plastic, and feels durable. The hinge has some resistance to it so it will stay where positioned. It does slide around a little bit on the backside of my case if I try moving it around (see video) but this isn’t a great concern, just something I noticed as I used it throughout the day. I wish it came in gold! I’ll likely be ordering more of these. Also of note, there are some magnetic rings included if you don’t already have a MagSafe compatible phone or case. I was using the Anker Magnetic Phone Grip (MagGo) for a time. This is infinitely better.It is sturdy, the kickstand is easy to flip open with just a finger, and unlike the Anker Ring, since the leg is the full length of the ring, it is long enough to stand in portrait or landscape mode, even on a big heavy phone. It is also study enough that it works at any angle.I've always found my big phones unwieldy without a good grip, and ironically this one, which is just a simple leg, is more comfortable to hold than the Anker Ring, I simply flip it out and rest it on my index finger.Additional info:This is technically designed for iphones, as apple owns the MagSafe brand.I'm using this on an android phone: The Samsung S21 Ultra 5G.There are adapters; basically a magnetic ring that sticks to the back of your phone or case. (This actually comes with 2) Beware the ones that are just metal rings, These are to be used with a case on an iphone that already has magnets, in order to help boost adhesion. Shey typically don't have sufficient adhesion for non-iphones.The best I have found so far is the "Sinjimoru Universal Magnet Sticker"You just have to align it over the Qi coils in the phone (You can search for an x-ray of your phone model, or a video of someone disassembling it to figure this out, or use trial and error, but typically the coil is smack dab in the middle of the phone.)

I was a little frustrated with my iPhone 13 Pro Max slipping down to a flat position while watching films in bed, so I looked for the least unobstrusive option to remedy the issue.This item is handy because it specifically works with Magsafe, as I don't want a case with a kickstand or an adhesive kickstand that will get in the way of Magsafe charging.The package this comes in (after taking it out of the shipping box) is quite small - a bit bigger than a box of matches, in fact. I lost a bit of hope seeing how small this product is, but after removing it from the box and wiping it with rubbing alcohol (the magnetic side was oddly sticky, even though I hadn’t used adhesives at all, so a wipe down was in order.Thankfully, despite using rubbing alcohol to clean the sticky back, the item didn’t discolour. I snapped the kickstand to the Magsafe area and it stuck on firmly enough and yes, it works as a little kickstand to hold the iPhone up in both portrait or landscape mode.Less star, however, because this is pretty pricey for something so small. At under $10, it would be more fair but costing closer to the $15 mark with tax, too pricey.

I bought 2 brackets, 1 is black for myself and the other is silver for my wife. We've been using them for almost 2 days and my wife and I love them.Firstly, it's metallic and has a nice hand that feels a little weighty but not bulky. The texture of black is more matte, and the texture of silver is smoother.Secondly, each bracket comes with 2 metal rings separately. These are for phones and cases without Magsafe function.Thirdly, I feel that the magnetic force of this bracket is very strong, and there are many angles that it can be adjusted. I don't have to worry about it becoming loose, because I feel that the quality of this bracket is very good.Lastly, the looks really match with our phones. My wife said she will buy this bracket for Gifts.

TLDR: Amazing grip, many options for adjusting the stand. A must buy for iPhones. A serious consideration for non-iPhones.REVIEW: I had expected this to be a cheap product but it is actually amazing. The magnetic grip is strong enough that I can literally use it to lift the phone. Additionally, the stand is so adjustable Thani can use it the place the phone at any angle I want to either vertically or horizontally.And (here’s the best part) - EVEN if I have a non-MagSafe case on I can use this stand. Now, admittedly the grip is weaker (about the strength of the ESR charging stand) but more than good enough the prop the phone up.
