Pylex 13902 Steel Stair Riser 2 Steps Stringers, Black

The quality seems good on these stringers and they look like they will stand the test of time. Very easy to assemble functional steps with some 2x6's and deck screws. The listing indicates it is for 1-stringer and you will need at least 2-stringers to make a set of steps. It seems hit or miss on how many stringers actually come when you order them. I needed 3, so I ordered 3 thinking they would be individual stringers and I wound up with 3 packages of 4 stringers in each package. Might be best to order 1 at a time until you have the correct amount of stringers you need for a project?! Otherwise, totally recommended for a quick set of steps wherever you might need them!

Great product. Easy install and sturdy. Lots of bolt locations so will work with multiple widths of boards. I used 3 to span 40 inches

I installed this in an attached garage to step up into the house. Used 2x6 treated lumber cut to about 30” width.

Easy to install, but be very careful to make sure that the all the rise dimensions are correctly laid out to insure that treads for steps and landing are even. The fabricated risers are light bweight, but are very sturdy if installed correctly.

These stringers worked well for us. We topped them with a great decking product we bought locally. The stringers are very discreet, I don't notice them much.
