The “paint chips” are battle scars of Boba Fett’s helmet. It even says it on the description. Boba Fett is a bounty hunter and gets into scraps so his helmet is never pristine and shows its battle scars. Giving a 1-star review because of “paint chips” when it’s specifically stated in the description is a bit disingenuous. The mug isn’t as robust as regular mugs because it’s a novelty item. Having stated that, I use it daily for my French pressed coffee and I even put it in the dishwasher and microwave. It’s been great.
