Great rower if you are not a tall person
I bought this because I wanted to add to my at home work-out routine. I had been using a rowing machine at the gym, but there is only one there and it's frequently unavailable. This is a great machine for the price! I have been using it for 3 months and I can definitely see a difference in my arms and legs. I'm actually getting better results than I was with the machine at the gym! Aside from the cardio workout it has toned my thighs and arms significantly. I will say that I am 5'2" and I can tell that if I were much taller it would be hard to use this machine. So if you are petite you will love this rower! It was very easy to assemble, and I am not the least bit mechanically inclined. It is also easy to move out of the way when I stand it up, and since it is in our guest room, that is a necessity when we have company. I paid over $500 when I bought it and now I see that the price has come down about $200. I might buy one for our vacation home as well.

Happy so far given the price, but app is limited.
At 220lbs I'm in need of losing 40 lbs to be where I want to be. We have a treadmill and elliptical but they have been causing issues with my feet. I was looking at a stationary bike but my wife brought up a rower so we went with this. I'm glad we went this rout instead of a bike since I do think I'll get a better workout. I've never used any other rowers but this seems ok for the price. Their app is very limited on the workouts available, maybe that will increase. One complaint is that the instructor does not seem to row at the pace they are calling for and seems to just row at a steady pace. If they call for a pace of 24 and I'm rowing a long in sync the machine is reading 29-31, and that feels like a good place. So I stead I'm just rowing and watching TV rather than using a routine most of the time. I wish the app would read the heart rate from my Polar and keep the screen on if you are in a free workout. It is a little on the loud side mainly because one of the rollers seems to be leaving deposits on the rail which then makes it sound rough until you wipe it off and wipe the roller. Then you get about 5 strokes and it returns, but only on the right side the left is fine.

Rowing for full body workout!
This is my very first rowing machine. After reviewing and comparing the reviews and features, I decided to go with this model and I have no regret. I have several other home workout equipment but this is by far the best total body workout machine, sturdy, high-quality build with a range of motion for the upper and the lower bodies. I'm glad that I went with the Q1-electromagnetic resistance model that works flawlessly with the MERACH app that adjusts the resistance level during the workout courses. The app works great as well. I can choose from beginner level to advance or challenge levels, display/app shows the real-time activity monitors. The training courses are all instructor-led interactive videos that you can follow along and can be paused for any reason. So far, I'm happy with the purchase.

Great machine but the seat hurts a bit
I put this together on my own which I do not normally do and the hardest part was getting it out of the box! After two workouts on it I did notice that the seat was rubbing me the wrong way. I purchased a gel seat cover to correct the problem.

Great product, couple recommendations…
Update: after only 3 months of use (5 days a week) the wheels are starting to chip away and the ‘plastic’ is getting on the rails and making it difficult to go back and forth. I have to clean off the rails and clean the wheels each use, and even then it’s no longer frictionless. Still a great unit, but something needs to be done about the seat wheels. This product is pretty great. Good range of motion, easy assembly. Definitely watch a how to video before using, as rowing machines are typically the most misused piece of equipment in a gym. I would recommend getting a gel seat pad as well as a mat to place the product on to. 4/5 stars.
