The media could not be loaded.  I was looking for a sturdy vent mount to make my driving easier and safer My goals:1.Sturdy enough to attach to the car vent2.Not blocking my vents. This is very important in summer.3.Move easily to different positions in case of glare. This phone mount is fantastic! It meets all my needs!It's made well and is sturdy once attached onto the vent. It doesn't shake and keeps my phone secure even when dealing with pot holes.The rotatable extension arm is a great feature. It gives users even more flexibility to move the phone where it doesn't block the vents orthe console. It saves people like me and who don't like to have things blocking their view on the dashboard and are afraid of heat. It also saves my phone from hot and cold air. It's a quality build. The vent hook is more than enough to attach it securely and the mount holds the phone safely. Both the clamp arm and the base have airbags to protect the phone well. I highly recommend this product if you're looking for a phone mount!

I have tried vent holders previously that did not work. This holder is designed to keep the vent blades from closing due to the weight of the holder. There are two adapters to for various vent designs and both have very good padding that protects the vents from damage. Very solidly built and the adjustable swing arm is very useful for exact placement. I replaced all of our cup phone holders with vent holders to get the phones up in the line of sight for safety. No more glancing down for the phone. My Samsung S22 Ultra with a heavy case makes the holder wiggle a bit but it will be fine for my wife's iphone.

The Torras phone mount works as described but took some trial fits to achieve the best fit in my Subaru Forester. The locking mechanism works great and solidly attaches to the vents in my car. The part of the device that secures the phone holds my iPhone securely and allows me to quickly place and remove it from the holder. The installation, however, took several trial fits to find the best location and configuration. The issue is the cockpit (dashboard and steering wheel) of my care has a small space between the ideal vent location (to the right of the steering wheel), the turn indicator shaft and the dashboard touchscreen. During the first few trial mountings, the phone holder blocked the turn indicator from its full range of motion. Adjusting the arm of the phone holder allowed me to finally mount it in a location that allowed everything to work and not block my forward vision while driving. If Torras could add one more ball joint on the extension arm, this seems as if it would provide an extra amount of adjustability that would've given me more options for placement of their phone holder. Overall, I'm very satisfied but users should allow extra time for trial fits to find the optimum installation location.

I purchased another version of the car mount by Torras (TORRAS Cell Phone Holder for Car [Real Thick & Beauty] 3 in 1 Car Phone Holder Mount Dashboard Air Vent Windshield Fit for iPhone 14 13 12 11 Pro Max Samsung Galaxy Note Ultra one.) It didn't fit my car vent properly. I have a Toyota Sienna and the car vent mount hits right where my gear changes are and it wasn't steady and it was scratching my vents and would end up breaking the car vent through long term use.Torras customer service reached out to offer assistance and would even send me another part at no cost if needed. After some emails back and forth, I decided to purchase this car mount instead and this one works perfectly. I returned the first one. The reason why I wanted the Torras car mount one is because it's the only one I have found that will fit a thicker phone case with wallet. I have an Iphone 13 with a wallet case. The thickness of the case is a little over 3/4" so normal phone car vents wouldn't hold my phone with the case.This is the only one I was able to find that will hold such a thick case and have no fear that my phone would fall while driving. I highly recommend this product.I am also very happy with the exception customer service Torras has. Shout out to Rolin! Thank you!

Good quality unit - seemed very sturdy. However, will not fit the round vents in 2003-2008 Pontiac Vibes (assume same for Toyota Matrix). You can get it to latch on, but have to tighten it so much to keep it in place that the vent pulls apart. Tried in multiple Vibes but same result.

Set this on my vent as instructed. Very unstable. The entire vent came right out and ended up breaking. I have a samsung galaxy z phone. Had to get a new vent on a truck I just bought. So frustrating.

The media could not be loaded.  Although my Volvo XC60 has a build in GPS screen, I still used to google map for navigation. From my picture you can see that there is a silver bump in the middle of the vent for my SUV. I bought two different holders but unfortunately none of them worked. Finally my friend recommended this one to me. It is not expensive, easy to install and most importantly the holder tightens down effectively to the car vent and it is very steady for my big and heavy iPhone 13 Pro max.This phone holder has the car mount with the arm on it. The extension arm places phone higher on dash for better viewing without taking eyes off road or blocking air. I used the phone holder for a three hour road trip including dirt bumpy road. My Phone stayed in slot securely even when my SUV bumped along on dirt roads. While it was mostly secure, there was a bit of a "wobble" to it. I think it's the extension of the arm pitch. Well, it certainly doesn't affect my use. The wide back keeps my phone flat and steady when pressing on screen. This phone holder deserves to be the best!!! I've seen people say there are problems with installation, it wasn't a problem for me. The instructions are detailed. By the way, there are two parts for tightening. I tried both of them and they work almost the same for my SUV. It is good that there are alternative parts for me to try.I highly recommend this phone holder to you especially if you have a hard to fit vent and heavy phone!
