Great journal and well made but finding refills with lines is a scavenger hunt.* I've been using this journal for over a year now and its really holding its value! This is an excellent purchase and I buy my refill pages from eccolo. 2 refill books together fits well in the journal, one can be lined and one blank or both lined or blank. It was a great buy!

Worked out perfectly for a laser engraving project. Engraves beautifully and looks very handmade.

I love this book. I got it because of the look and the price. A better value for more pages. The paper feels great. The look is great. The star kind of reminds me of the Texas flag and / or the Moroccan star. Kinda cool n that regard. The binder kinda makes it hard to write on the entire page which is one of my dislikes but I expected that this book would be small. Love carrying it around. My suggestion is that u use a gel pen or roller ball or fountain pen. A simple ball point is ok, but feels really weird and cheap on the great paper. Seems like it's built for a wetter ink that requires less force when writing. I would def suggest this as a traveling book to jot thoughts, drawings etc.

The stitching on this is fantastic. Nice sturdy leather. Smoother then I would have liked but still a nice soft leather. A good description for this is a leather cover for a journal as it is designed like a book cover to protect the journal inside. While this might turn some people off it makes it very easy to refill. I am using this as a journal to pass down my memories some day.Fantastic product definitely going to go through their store catalog to see what else they offer.

The leather cover is really nice and closes with a chunky, satisfying strap. I like the way it looks.The paper is really interesting. It's a very coarse, thick, recycled cotton paper with occasional large chunks of stuff in it. I'd recommend using a pen with fast drying ink that isn't too wet as the paper is very absorbent. I tried a fountain pen on it and it feathered quite a bit, almost like I was writing on a paper towel.

What a fantastic deal! I purchased it for almost half the price; however, I would gladly pay full price considering the quality of the materials and craftsmanship. I look forward to purchasing more leather products in the future.

Handmade cotton paper interior beautiful leather however easy to scratch. I would suggest conditioning it prior to use to ease the wear or natural patina of the product.
