Mantova All-Natural Authentic Italian Potato Gnocchi 6 count 1 lb. Packages

This is delicious. They use real basil, not just lots of spinach, with just enough basil to make it taste better. The package is larger than I was expecting. One-half package was plenty for both my husband and me, with a side salad and garlic bread. Each order is enough for 12 meals - what a deal! It is also v-e-r-y shelf-stable. and lasts a lot longer than it's "Best By" date.

I would like these better without the incorporated tomato flavor...like to get my tomato jolt from adding sauce after cooking, but not bad overall and certainly very reasonable...,..would probably buy again.

Description says quantity of six, I receive one, and by looking at it I wouldn’t even eat this product! It expired on December 13 and I received it after the fact I wouldn’t feed this to my dog!

I like to airfry these; they get kind of gummy if you boil and then saute them. But airfried in a bowl with a little oil they consistently turn out really well and are a great base for any sauce (I prefer them with pesto).

This was perhaps the sixth or seventh time I have ordered one of the Mantova gnocchi packs, and that should give you an indication that I like the product a lot. In the past, the product has been very reliable and tasty. It is also a solid value.The shipment arrived and I put it into my pantry without really looking at it carefully. I still had other older packages of the regular Mantova potato gnocchi to finish. As I began using packages from this shipment, I noticed that although the packaging said basil flavored, the gnocchi were not a uniform green color, and in fact, only a portion appeared to have gotten the basil powder in them. So you have this mix of what looks like regular potato gnocchi, and then a few that are partially green or fully green. My guess is that in this particular batch the basil powder did not get mixed uniformly into the dough, and the packages that I got reflect this. They cook normally, and taste fine, but you don't get the basil/pesto flavor that prior batches had.I will work my way through the remaining packages. I will in fact order this product again when my supply runs low. I'll just hope that when that next package arrives the product is back to normal. I'll make it a point to check the product. If I get another unevenly colored and flavored set, then I'll be returning them. It will be a sign that quality control has taken a hit. I'll hope that doesn't end up being the case. I've been really happy with this product in the past.

These basil gnocchis were faded in the package. A little bit of green colour but mostly whitish. They smelled like storage and they tasted like storage. I didn't check the sell by date. I didn't feel good. I prepared them anyway but had to really flavor up my soups and sauces to take the old taste away. I don't Recommend if they can't keep their stick turned over for freshness
