Volatile Lovers to Enemies To Lovers Again
I think Sabrina Gallo is unlike any other heroine I’ve ever encountered in any book. Sabrina is wild, spontaneous, seductive, brilliant, a fast thinker, a risk-taker, and volatile. Sabrina’s experiences with Adrik Petrov results in explosions in chemistry that carry throughout the book - from taking off for their first date in the first chapter to the very last page of the book. Very few heroes could beat the first date that Adrik set up for Sabrina. He understood the assignment. I felt excited reading their action filled adventures in The Savage.I enjoy reading about wild and passionate characters like Sabrina. I liked that Adrik didn’t get jealous of Sabrina’s interest in females in the very beginning which led to an intriguing scene involving another female. I liked that he felt so secure in himself that he didn’t get jealous then but instead embraced Sabrina’s interest at that time. Adrik and Sabrina have several intriguing and spicy scenes throughout the book. There are also steamy descriptions of Sabrina with a girlfriend from her past.Adrik is also volatile. He’s a great leader beginning with his days at Kingmakers’s. He sees Sabrina as the tigress that she is.But they become enemies in time. With both of them being volatile, the plot thickens. It becomes explosive, exciting, and sad. The emotions and feelings of Adrik and Sabrina are so strong and intense, they seem amplified.I listened to the playlist as each song came up in the book. The songs matched the scenes perfectly and set the mood. The illustrations within the book were beautifully drawn and also matched the scenes that followed perfectly. I could visualize the scenery and imagery so easily for this book and the whole Kingmakers’s series with the descriptions that the author used. There are a few appearances from past characters from the author’s previous books. It is probably a good idea to read the other Kingmakers’s books before reading this book to prevent spoilers of those books, especially The Spy. I enjoyed reading about the past characters and seeing their reactions to the explosive relationship between Sabrina and Adrik. I’m looking forward to the retelling of Anastasia from the author but I would love it if the author’s fans could once again talk the author into writing another Kingmakers’s book.

Adrik and Sabrina
I really enjoyed Sabrina and Adrik’s story. Sabrina’s character intrigued me when we met her in the last book, Nix and Rafe’s story. She was very mysterious and took no crap from anyone. It was interesting to see her and Adrik together. They were very alike and butted heads a lot. But they loved each other fiercely and their physically relationship also played a huge part in making them work. I wasn’t entirely thrilled at the amount of time they were separated towards the end. It’s just a pet peeve of mine. I wasn’t sure how Sabrina was ever going to reconcile with him. She seems way to stubborn and Adrik didn’t know how to say the right things to her or apologize. He never did by the way. Sabrina apologized to him but I feel like he never atoned for the part he played in their split. There were also quite a few typos in the story which surprised me. All in all it was an excellent addition to the Kingmaker’s series. It was very entertaining and the storyline was really good.

Absolutely Amazing
I mean when the Lark Loves get rowdy, our Queen delivers! We asked for more Kingmakers and we got it with Sabrina and Adrik. There is NO shortage of hot and steamy scenes and lets be honest, we new Sophie was going to give us these. We see Sabrina decide to not finish at Kingmakers, but join Adrik in Russia instead. As he has had a few years to form his pack. The problem is, Sabrina, is not quite ready for all that it will entail and runs. They have such strong personalities that you knew that once they hit heads too many times one was going to have to walk away. The action is nonstop as we have come to expect from our mafia world. Not too many can compare when it comes to the world that we are given with this book. I loved watching Sabrina in the other books and knew she was going to be a force when it came time for someone to try and claim her. She worked hard to accomplish being strong, and refused to be anything less than an equal when it came time to finding someone to love her. Is Adrik really ready for her?Man I loved being in the world again. There is nothing quite like Sophie’s mafia men and women. All are strong as heck and when they work together you know nothing is going to stop them.

This was a weird one
First, I'm a huge fan of Sophie Lark. Brutal Birthright series was the first of her books I read, then Kingmakers, then this one. I loved all books in both series except this one; it just felt out of sync with the others. Sabrina was really hard to like and came across as spoiled and entitled due to her name and her looks. Her story arc was also just totally unrealistic and I really did not like the whole drug angle of this book. Adrik was coolish but his story arc was also totally unrealistic as well. He*s this badass Russian mafia dude but this reckless, immature, bratty 20 y/o gf almost brings his "empire" to its knees? No, not buying it. Sabrina is one of those types of women that has to be the center of the show all the time that people tolerate because it's too much trouble to find a way to lose her. Brutal Birthright and Kingmakers, though? Absolutely read those!

Addictive!
4.75 🍭🍭🍭🍭🍭#Sabdrik all the way! This story was perfect. I love Adrik and Sabrina is the best. Their love was intense, adventurous and unpredictable.I identified so much with Sabrina… the need to show independence, to obtain freedom no matter what. It’s amazing, but it’s also tiring. You always need to prove something and that becomes a burden at some point. It was great to read her and to reflect on how that was a way of living. I treasure it, but I find myself in a point where I care about what I think without proving points to someone else. Don’t get me wrong, it’s inevitable sometimes but leaving that behind is the freedom i was looking for before. She has this amazing personality, and Adrik is the perfect partner. I loved their intensity and I wish there were an epilogue in the far future, to see their lives. The only problem with Sophie’s universes is I always want more. More characters appear and they intrigue me and I also want their stories.Addictive, that’s what this writing is all about.

Perfect. Heart wrenching. Explosive.
Non-Spoiler review. We wanted it, we asked for it and we got it. However, we are so unprepared for this bombshell of a story. Adrik was too.Sabrina is my new wild spirit animal. She’s an Aida 2.0 (whom Sabrina has a very tender moment with). Wild, unchained, free, proud, borderline unstable and I am so in love with her for it.Adrik is just as wild, free, and proud. Forging his own path in the jungle that is Moscow. He wants the king’s share, thriving for the top and settling for nothing less than that. The sparks start the very moment they meet and grow until it’s a full-on forest fire and burns everything in its path. Both of them think, believe, and try to contain it but neither wants to compromise so eventually, they lose control. Now, Sophie makes very bold choices in this story, and it is very fitting. Like Sabrina and Adrik, the story bends the rules because it won’t stand to be constricted by conventions and such. The book goes where it wants to and we just need to buckle ourselves good for the ride.I felt dizzy once I was done because that’s how intense The Savage is.I would 100% recommend this book, however!! The warnings need to be taken seriously: as Sophie said, there is FFM and FF in this book AND drug usage. As anything else in Dark Romance: read at your own risk.10/10 for me!

Sophie Lark, queen of mafia romances
I have mixed feelings about this. And I will go on forever telling them.Sophie Lark’s books are always incredible. You want to devour them even though sleep is a necessity and reading while working is not permitted, but this woman knows how to write a compelling story. However, I didn’t love it as the others because I had different expectations and I know that issue falls down on me.Sabrina, is sassy, clever, witty. I loved her and her sexuality. Loved Adrik, too. A man with an ego and still confidence is great. However the plot was too centered between these two characters. I never see a great interaction between the other of the Wolfpack or a connection created, friendship. Personal conversations. That part misses in this book and is quite odd to me.Another thing I did not like was their fight. For how great it was written and had an important aspect in the plot, I wanted to hear the regret of Adrik and that did not happen.Last thing that made me angry, the wedding. It seems people have to marry to belong to one another. I hoped that an unconventional couple like them could have had a different ending an unconventional way of tying themselves together for the rest of their lives.Jasper is my next hope for another Sophie Lark book. His character was scratched a bit but I want to know more and I want his story.
