Very good for nursing students, however, I wish it had a bigger date and I wish it also had military time 0 - 2359. Other "scrub" watches have quartz movement, which is not recommended for nursing students. The problem is that they while measuring a pulse or respiration, students get caught up in the quartz movement and change the count accordingly. This watch has the "sweeping" movement which does not lend to that problem. That is the reason we bought it and it has performed well. There is a whole market available here to watch makers that are paying attention. Get a "Scrub" version with sweeping second hand and 24 hour markings for under $100 and you will own the "Scrub" space. Keeps perfect time! For those who complain about the watch stopping after a day or two from not wearing it，ITS AN AUTOMATIC! You have to wear it to keep it working! Go buy a battery watch if you need it “on” all the time.To me this a modern version of the original swatch (battery operated) that was worn and when the battery was expired you through it away -or kept for collectablity purposes. This watch is the same except that is mechanical. Its sealed and made by robots- awesome but scary concept.This watch is water proof as I've been in the pool and ocean with mine.Just remember to wind it counter-clockwise to get it started. I wind mine about 30 times when I've not worn it for a few days (40 hr power reserve) and then the autowind feature does the rest.If you're remotely into watches then you should enjoy this one.....
