Beautiful and realistic design. Great swimming action. My only genuine gripe is the light weight of the lure, which causes it to easily snag. This is especially so given that it has three hooks. Despite this minor drawback, it's a wonderfully productive lure to have in your arsenal if you are a West Coast surf angler.

Caught lots of calicos and barracuda, but after catching 6 or 7 fish, the hooks start to break, I had to replace all the hooks after 3 hrs of fishing. Great lure just not so good hooks

I have many patterns of the 110, and use them frequently for in shore, relatively close type applications. they are waited and do cast pretty well, but not like a Duo International type lure as they don't really have the same weight transfer system, then again, they don't COST as much either and on par, are probably just as effective in the 35 to 50 yard range.But, they are affordable, Japanese made and come in many advantageous patterns depending on what you're going after, and they are very strong. I took on a 35 pound stingray with one once and it held it's own, your knots, leader or line will probably give out before these do.Great inshore lure and a MUST have for any surf fisherman.
