Very good read
I initially decided to read this series because it's set in a city close to where I live. But after the first one I was hooked. These guys are sweet, funny, stubborn and loyal. Would want them to have my back

Grab the Bull by the horns!
Lawls! Had to be said. I really liked this story! The MCs were cute together. To be honest that pairing is a trope I can rarely resist and This one definitely stands up to the competition. Big tough bear guy with the heart of gold and the feisty smaller guy with the spine of steel. Truly well done. Why the star drop? Well... There were a few things that I found annoying enough to seriously knock me out of the book.I found that there was just a touch too much drama, if that makes sense. The mom, the uncle, the past... They were each interesting enough that they could have been fleshed out and used for a different book since this is the start of a series. Just too many things piled on at one time completely randomly that it made everything feel so forced and unnatural. They talked too much and at weird times. I LOVED that they were talking about their problems and opening up to each other, it just felt like a lot of redundancy after a while. I love Insta-love so I'm 100% on board with super quick pairings; even so, barfing up your deepest feelings before 5 minutes into date 1 or immediately following/during sex is just doesn't sit right. I get what author was going for but it missed the mark big time. The tone of the writing seemed to change randomly and didn't match the situation. It was super confusing. The epilogue as the most recent example. Like 3 pages I was so confused by what was going on vs. what I was reading. It happened a few times throughout. Like they were happy but the tone was sad. Or they were angry but the tone was relaxed. It was EXTREMELY noticeable.Overall I really enjoyed this book though. The romance was sweet and sexy. The characters were fleshed out. It was super satisfying. I'll probably continue the series and I really think that says the most.

Very Enjoyable!
The last thing Bull expected when he searched the young man was that he would giggle, get knocked down and then cause a fight. But, that's exactly what Zach did and every time Bull was there to save him. What started as a birthday trip to the club turned into so much more, Zach had found his hero. That's how he thought of Bull, as a matter of fact Bull has been on his mind since that day. Being a graphic artist Zach decided to make a graph novel with Bull being the Hero. That led him back to the club to observe Bull in his work environment and that was the beginning of their relationship, first conversation, then lunch and finally a date. That date led to so much more and Zach slowly turned the growlly bouncer into the man of his dreams and the love of his life. CUTE COUPLE!!😍😍😍

Slow, sweet romance.
Sweet story of Bull an ex-mercenary turned bar owner who is a serial one night stand guy who falls pretty fast for Zach who's a graphic artist and innocent/virgin. Bull first notices Zach standing in line waiting to get into his club and calls him over to be searched; during which Zach starts giggling and wiggling around, which really gets Bull's attention. In no time Bull and Zach are dating and taking the sex slowly. This book had a little to much drama issues thrown in for effect that actually went nowhere. Bull's mother is a typical homophobe but she turns around too fast to seem realistic. An ex-client of Bull's that's not taking no for an answer shows up in his kitchen and it goes nowhere. Another mercenary comes to convince Bull to take a job and goes away when told no but returns to try to get Bull to pay him when the client won't, and Zach takes him down. Again not realistic. Zach get's some closure with his parents death and his family/community banishing him for being gay. His uncle is a hard character and his treatment of Zach was sad. All the going nowhere drama didn't bother me as much as some people because I really liked the the story and the slow romance between Bull and Zach. This is a well written book with little spelling, grammar and punctuation errors. I will definitely read it again and will recommend it to others.

Absolutely on my TBR again list!!!
I have to admit, prior to Inside Out, I’d never even heard of Andrew Grey, much less read any of his prior work. This is proof positive that a well written publisher’s blurb posted to Facebook can snag a new reader and make an instant fan out of them!I’m not going to lie, I have a thing for the tough, growly types that seem to be softer on the inside for the right person, so I was instantly in book love with Bull. His strong, no-nonsense attitude screamed out for someone to take a poke at him - and Zach was the right guy for the job. As many times as Bull attempted to take a step back in denial from the budding interest he was developing with the much younger twink, Zach’s upbeat but realistic personality seemed to be exactly the balm he needed. Each struggled with de-valuing themselves in some way; I loved that as hot as the couple were with one another sexually, it was the emotional connection that gave this story so much depth.Did Zach do crazy things that might not have been completely thought out in order to gain Bull’s attention? Sure, but that eagerness seemed to be exactly what the tightly wrapped guy needed to bring a spark of excitement to his life. Bull’s innate need to protect and nurture was readily apparent; however Zach intense loyalty and ability to roll with the punches as it were made me realize that his inner strength was just as powerful. This is a fun read, a deep read and definitely a sexy one. Even if M/M romance isn’t your “go-to” genre, I would recommend Inside Out by Andrew Grey for its feel good plot alone - it’s THAT good! Five Shooting Stars!!!Review originally posted on Redz World Blog

Good read
I really enjoyed this book. It was really well written and held my interest till the end. Zach and Bull really complimented other, and they truly were what each other needed. Even though Zach was younger than Bull, he was more in touch with himself and his past trauma mentally and emotionally than Bull and helped Bull by calling him on his shortcomings. I'm definitely going to read the other books in this series.

Not so scared x
Liked the characters of Bull and Zach. Both were able to see past what others saw. I thoroughly enjoyed reading and watching their relationship unfold. Andrew writes it in a way that almost includes the reader,I have loved all of Andrews books and this one is no different, loved it, and recommend it.

Wanted so much more
Having read Andrew Grey's work previously, I had high hopes for this book, but am sadly underwhelmed. The story didn't sit well - the relationship didn't make sense, neither did the characters. Poorly written from a very good author.

Bear love....
Such a great story with characters to die for. Andrew Grey knows how to make the reader really relate to how the characters feel and I found my self completely absorbed by their interaction. Would recommend...
