Research before buying
This MIGHT be a low-cost alternative to paying your car dealer.Start by calling the dealer and asking what they charge. It will be outrageously overpriced. That price includes three things: Buying a new key fob, cutting the key, and reprogramming the fobs (if necessary). Look in your owner's manual or online to see how difficult it is to reprogram your fob. For my 2014 Chevy Sonic, you can reprogram it yourself- just insert a working key in the ignition and turn, then insert the new key in the ignition and turn, wait 5 seconds, done. A Youtube video showed how easy it is. But other cars and fobs might require professional reprogramming. I found a locksmith who would cut the key for $45. (My local ACE hardware charges $102 for a new fob, but won't cut something you purchased online.) My locksmith would have charged an additional $50 to reprogram the fob, but I already knew I could do that myself. So I paid $12.50 per fob to purchase the fob and $45 per fob to have it cut, instead of the $129 per fob the dealer quoted. I saved over $70 per fob. One caution- I ordered a three button fob, got a four button fob, the locksmith said the remote start might not work. I have never used the remote start, so I didn't even check it. But that's a possible issue if that's important for you. It looks sturdy enough, so I saved $70 per fob. But do your homework first, make some calls, otherwise you might have to run around and then end up returning it.

No good
Have only had a short time and both have stopped working. Not worth the money I have had to spend. Don't waste your money on them.

Select with caution- then no problem.
Keys are perfect but you need to make sure they are exactly the same. My start up doesn’t work because although they look the same they are not. The second row has one space on my original key and this one has two. They must be exact in order to activate the keyless start up. Otherwise they work perfect. Unlocking and locking car. Locksmith charged me 30$ to cut key. Its was well worth it. Key costs other places 80-100 plus 30 to program. Through Amazon got two keys and 60 to program total 86 $ for both. Can’t beat it!!

Great product! A little difficult to find a place to have them programmed. But it worked out and now they're in use. Nice price also.

Key fob remote start.
I had the keys cut today and programmed to my 2015 Chevy trax. All functions programmed except for the remote start function. I bought 2 key fobs and both reacted the same. Any ideas out there on this problem. Thanks,Ken I am having issues with programming key fobs One of them works with lock unlock but no remote start. the other no functions are working. talked to company rep and did all what they suggested. Still not working. My cost besides fobs was $120.00 to have keys cut for the vehicle. Now I have fobs that don't function properly.

Value
It was just what I was looking for. I'm using this to add another fob for a car that I only have one for. The extra one. I will save in case I need it. I have two cars that can use this fob.

Lasted 2 weeks
Key worked great for 2 weeks. The buttons quit working. The key starts the car without issues. Could not get buttons to work again. Swap batteries and tried to re program. Buttons continue to fail.
