I do video editing and the way to select between different shots in a multi-clip is by using the numeric keypad. Well, I found that to be inconvenient as I am right handed and both the mouse and numeric keypad are on the right. I purchased this little programmable keypad to place on the left side of my station as a dedicated shot selector. It does the job perfectly and it even came pre-programmed to “1,2,3&4”. I drilled a hole in my desk to hide the wire and double face taped it into place and it’s absolutely the ideal solution to my problem. Great item and a great value. Plus, the changing color lights add a high tech look to it.

I would love to give these 5 stars. The physical product is excellent. Feels solid, looks great and does what it needs to do perfectly. The problem however is the software. Even when set to English, the texts in some of the menus is in Chinese (maybe...). It can be slowly deciphered with enough time and patients but why is such a great product hobbled by poor software. Would I buy it again...maybe. The software is crummy but it works great for shortcuts in MS Flight Sim.

My dell monitor supports switching channel between DP / USB-C (DP AltMode) / HDMI using customizable hot key combos. this is a perfect product for my need.I work at home now, trying to make my monitor input switching and USB-3 Switcher a little more instant.Pros:----1. Memorized programmable hot keys, i have this plugged in to my USB-3 switcher and memorized macro keys are directly usable to the other system.2. Supports advanced scripting features for gamer & tech geeks alike3. RGB can be color profiled for each key, custom color including white RGB(255,255,255) , lit patterns like solid, breathing, fade ... etc.4. No Drivers needed - Mac/Windows supported service app, just run the executable app and it will self launch a web page to allow you customize5. Configurable User Interface supports 3 languages- default is in Chinese, English is one of them6. USB-C type connector input on the keypad (probably in USB 2.0 mode)Cons:----* Watch out for the horrible USB-A to USB-C cable!!! This almost corrupted my USB hiarchy of connected NVME/SSD devices, if you hear random USB devices disconnection and reconnection, double check this crappy USB cable connector on the HOST side, when I wiggle this USB-A connector .. all my USB devices had lost connectivity momentarily and came back as if there was a short or USB controller crash.Summary:----This is "Sayo" series programmable macro key / keypads, so look around find your favorite type before making a purchase decision.I have not bought much of RGB product, in fact trying to avoid it them, unless if its WHITE, luckly the color profile are configurable.I didnt buy this for gaming, mainly for convenience of Monitor Switching convenience via Customizable-Hot-Key sequences through Dell Monitor Utility.
