I love how this manual vacuum sealer works and it’s a good price. The accessories work with my Koios vacuum sealer machine, too. A great combo pack. I’ve been vacuum packing dry meals in jars for emergency, camping and convenience, and for long-term food storage. If I only have a couple to do at a time I use the manual sealer instead of dragging out my machine. I also roast my own coffee beans and this is excellent to vacuum pack the roasted beans until ready to use. I like this set from this seller. Quick good service for an excellent product. I’ve been recommending to other people. My sister-in-law ordered one too. She’s excited to start using it. It’s quick and easy to use, and all of my jars have sealed and kept the seal so far. Very happy!

For such a simple and affordable design this thing works great. It was a very low tech solution to store my dehydrated vegetables.

It works well. Once you seal a jar you need that can opener to open it. If the jar is lid is messed up in any way, then it wont seal. Sort of hard to get the cap off the jar after sealing it. But works great for my freeze dried stuff.

Wanted a jar sealer to go with my vac-sealer, this one was a bonus, since it included a manual pump as well.Works great with my electric vac-seal with the supplied hose and adapter. The included manual pump is a little harder, since it doesn't "connect" to the sealer lids, it's just your pressure down on it that makes it work, but it does work.

I love this one, I love the manual pump, easy and fast to use for a 1/2jars job and I love the hose attachment for big jobs. I was able to use it with my LEM vacuum sealer, I assume it can be used with any vacuum sealer.I’m pretty satisfied with it, I had a small electric one before but it last only 6 months

I wasn’t sure what to expect buying a cheap, hand pump vacuum sealer but this thing has totally surprised me! It works really well and lasted me a long time! Highly recommend!

It is very easy to use. I wish I could rely on the end result. Jars will suction and seal, and you could pick up the jar by the lid. But within a few hours one of the lids came loose. I resealed it. A few days later another lid came unsealed. My cousin told me one of the jars she sealed using this device came unsealed 3 months after sealing. If you use this I would not forgo using rings.( update)I was kindly contacted by the vendor to assist with this issue. Apparently you are supposed to use the ring after sealing to insure the seal remains. This is opposite to canning where you are supposed to remove rings. I didn't notice any mention about using the rings so I wasn't expecting this. I did raise my rating from 2 stars to 3. It does seal, but be fully aware you will have to use rings.

I was looking for jar sealers to use with my new vacuum sealer. I didn't even know hand pumps were available, so I was jazzed to find out one came with the set. After using it, I'm not sure I'll even use the vacuum sealer with the kit unless I'm doing a big job. Using this little hand pump is super easy and fast. Works great with regular and wide mouth lids, and I no longer have to use the little air removal packets in my jars of dehydrated foods. Great price, too.

I don't have a vacuum sealer machine, but the pump is great. This is great for sealing jars for dehydrated goods. Can open and reseal often. It will even seal lids with rubber gaskets on the inside, like spaghetti jars from the store. I use it often. Good product and seems to be solid. Highly recommend as it's much cheaper than buying the vacuum sealer and expensive bags.

I’m using this to keep my weekly batch of cold pressed juice fresh. It works really well, the juice tastes great and really fresh throughout the week. I only use the manual pump, as have not got a foodsaver, and it is very effective. I’m in love with it, as juicing daily was very time consuming. I had concerns it would be just another gadget just full of good intentions, but it certainly delivers what promises!

Easy to use. Remember to hold the seal down under vacuum. Seals jars well. We use it in conjunction with oxygen absorbers. Works well with a vacuum sealer for ease.

I used this to seal jars of chillis after a bumper harvest. When I had a problem in using it the seller was quick to respond and help.

I had purchased a quality vacuum sealer appliance that comes highly rated. It was supposed to come with an adaptor hose for the port on top. That port is used for sealing jars, wine bottles, etc. Rather than return the appliance and wait for another one, I bought this accessory kit. I was interested in all the other pieces it came with, too.However, the adaptor hose is *not* universal to the Anova Culinary Precision Vacuum Sealer Pro. The adaptor piece is too big for the top port. I didn’t have any luck trying to find an alternative and I liked the rest of the kit.My husband came up with the idea to use a file and just lightly file one end. I took the coarse side of a nail file and slowly filed around and around. I stopped every couple of turns to see if it fit. I’d check to make sure it was as even as I could get it, blowing out the plastic dust—away from appliances, etc. Once I was able to get the same fit as I could on the inside port (where it did fit), I made sure it was gently smooth/buffed. It’s important to know that It has to fit all the way down into the port for a proper seal, so I filed the entire spout part of the adaptor.I tried it with both the wide mouth and the regular and they sealed quickly. There is a button that you press right next to the port for the hose function. (You can’t use the inside port for this because the Anova has to have the lid down and the lock in place in order for it to have power.) That is why I had to fit one end to the top port. The adaptor at the other end of the was left alone to fit into the specialized jar lids.I tried both sizes twice and it worked great. It stopped as soon as it was done. I checked the seals and they were tight. In my photo, the adaptor on the left is the one I filed. The one on the right is as it comes.So for anyone who has a similar issue with their appliance, this is an option. By the way, these specialized lids are better than the real Food Saver lids that they are modelled after. They are made the same and work the same. On the Food Saver brand, one is made a little differently and causes issues.This accessory kit is a terrific addition to my Anova and I look forward to all the extra options this gives me.
