I purchased these for my 88-year-old Mother Who needs assistance with holding her cups. I found these when I was researching “sippy cups for adults“. She really likes them. Thank you, Amazon for such a great website that considers every thing. Great packaging and delivery to her house. Thank you.

Light and easy to hold for adults who struggle to hold and drink from a regular glass or cup.

These cups are not spill-proof. I bought them for my mother who is in a fairly advanced stage of dementia and has increasingly been tipping her beverage cups upside down or tilting them or putting them down on uneven surfaces. I was hoping for an adult-sized sippy cup that would prevent her from spilling. These are not that. They are possibly ok for adults with full awareness who just have unsteady hands. The lids are secured by sliding them into the cup, not screwing them in place and they have large airholes in them that the liquid will just pour out of when tipped. They are also smaller and thinner plastic than I thought they would be.

I ordered these from a friend with Parkinson's whose tremors make drinking from a cup very difficult. These were advertised to be spillproof. They are absolutely not spillproof! The plastic is thin and cheap. I'm very disappointed in them.

These cups are as described with the exception of spill proof. Unfortunately I bought them specifically for needing a spill proof cup.
