Q: where is the on/off switch

The unit automatically switches off when it heats up, thus allowing for a good even grilling process.The BELLA Panini Maker features a variable temperature control knob so you can grill or toast your food to your liking.

Q: Does anyone know how to adjust the height on the locking mechanism? Description says adjustable height but I don’t see how it adjusts.

The way the hinge works it can automatically adjust for the height of what is being grilled to a degree. The sandwich is too thick, the upper grill will only partially sit on the top of the sandwich. I use a wooden spoon to help lift the back of the upper plate and the flip the sandwich to finnish grilling evenly.

Q: Dose it work with 220 voltage? Cause I want to bring it to another country

Nope. Not directly. You will need a heavy duty down converter to go from 220 to 110. Not recommended. You will need to spend much more on that transformer.
