2017 release. Hailing from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Hundredth are traditionally known for their energetic live shows, dark and introspective lyrics, and unique musical style that is both brutally heavy and full of melody. Lead by vocalist Chadwick Johnson's vision of constant evolution, the album Rare showcases the band's ability to transcend the hardcore genre, which has resulted in a new sound that is reminiscent of early post punk and shoegaze.

Haunting & Adictive
It's so rare that I enjoy every song on an album. It's like the perfect mix of Amusement Parks on Fire, Solar Powered People & Cheatahs with the best elements of each all wrapped up in this perfect package. They have their own sound but have married the essence of the heavy nu-gave sound mixed with some 80's guitar tone. Just brilliant. I have this album on the hard drive in my car along with about 400 other bands & still find myself having to listen to it a couple of times a week just to get myself in a great mood on the way to work. I seriously hope they stay on this trajectory & make more albums with this sound. I'll burn this one out & can't wait to see what's coming next.

90's shoegaze with a contemporary vibe
Never heard of them before so didn't have expectations. Wow, I am blown away at how good this entire album is. 90's shoegaze with a modern feel.

Great change of pace
I thoroughly enjoy their Melo Hardcore work and I think this album was a great way to branch off into different work. Excellent songs, each one is a banger. Highly recommend to people who like atmospheric/melodic rock.
