SMITH Optics Squad XL Goggle

These have been fantastic with awesome clarity, field of view, and color enhancement. I have used these is extremely wet, muddy, and cold conditions and they performed wonderfully. The hydrophobic layer helped shed water and the lens stayed fog free while moving and taking breaks. The color enhancement with Chromapop is second to none and really helps see all the obstacles clearly. I was worried about the larger size but they fit in my helmet fine and clear my larger than average nose without any breathing obstruction.

I've worn a lot of MTB goggles and this is by far the best FOV out of all of them. These goggles have such a good FOV they almost feel like glasses. Makes me feel much less claustrophobic and I honestly ride better because of that.The mid-tint lens is excellent and does a great job of stopping light in the clearcut but letting you see little roots and rocks when you get back in the forest, a common occurrence in PNW riding. Goggles fit pretty well into my LEATT full face, although you will have the best fit on a Smith helmet obviously. If you want one of the best pairs of goggles on the market, buy these!

This product performed very well, they did not fog too easy as other models specialy when going to high speeds, they are very comfortable I use them with a Bell 3R helmet. They are the most ventilated googles I have tried and protect very well against UV light.

Been looking for goggles like this for a while. Love the Chromo pop got rid of the clear lenses in back to some darkness.

These goggles have an increased contrast thats almost like cheating with the increased detail you see. After a few rides they do occasionally fog up a little at the top on climbs but overall they work well and offer good protection for your eyes.

Google strap ripped. Beat up Smith box came in an envelope. . Only choice is return item for refund. But i want what i paid for and not a refund pretty please. Thxs

I have a round asian face and wear a size 8 1/4 size baseball cap. I wish the bend in the goggles was a little flatter for my face, but once I have my open face helmet on, and put the goggles over, it works well enough. Even though I don't consider myself a hardcore shredder at all, I now prefer MTBing with goggles over glasses as they stay more secure. I use the goggles in combination of 'Spit' spray to alleviate any fogging.

I have been a Smith Optics wearer for my entire life. I started wearing them 22 years ago when I first started riding motocross bikes. I continued to wear multiple different models and styles as i grew older and continued to race motocross, so I am a customer that will always spend the money to have what I would consider as the best goggles on the market. I purchased these goggles to wear at downhill mountain bike parks while wearing a full face helmet. I purchased the XL version because I am a large person and need the size. The goggles fit perfectly inside my helmet. The snug fit is exactly what I was expecting. The vision the goggles provide are the absolute best when it comes to performance. There is no glare with the Chromapop lens, and all the obstacle in front of you just pop out and are extremely easy to see. My issue as to why I gave these a 3 star is the foam padding. It is very thin and very uncomfortable. I wore these goggles for three days in a row dripping in sweat. By the end of the first day I was noticing irritation on the right side of my face where the foam presses up against my cheek. This continued for the nest two days while I was riding. Yes it was bearable, but for $85 this is an absolute joke. The frame is flimsy at best, and the lens doesn't even fit flush inside the frame, with small gaps around the edges. I am extremely disappointing in the finish of these goggles. If they didn't fit my helmet correctly and didn't provide such clear vision they would be getting a 1 star rating. I will be searching for other options of goggles when it comes time to purchase a new pair unless Smith fixes their padding and gives us something to work with for the absolute premium goggle price of $85.I would only recommend if you have extra money to blow that you don't care about. Otherwise I would try a different brand. Yes you get immaculate vision from these goggles, but the finish and design of these goggles is extremely sub-par for $85. absolutely overpriced. $60 is the most I would spend on these.

Something very wrong. No sure if fake or rip off but the quality and random writing on the lens appears the goggles from BYOUNG seller fake; the non slip is cheap glue that is stuck to everything, dog or cat fur on the goggle band and packaging is old and damaged. You get what you pay for. Very disappointing. Absolute waste of time

Recibí los googles y su caja venía maltratada, parecían lentes usados. Para mi sorpresa, no tenían el visor que incluye así que opté por regresarlos inmediatamente.Los lentes son reducidos en tamaño, por lo que si usas lentes o usas casco xxl es posible que se te vean chicos y que no te queden bien.

out of the box the strap was failing, leaving a residue all over my helmet. I contacted smith and they told me to destroy them and them would send me a voucher, for less then I paid. Smith does not stand behind there product.

Nur bei unter 5°C, wenn man mitten in der Fahrt stehen bleibt und dann in die Brille dampft, dann beschlägt sie. Ansonsten super. Für breitere Nasen, wie meine drückt sie ein bisschen, aber ist OK.
