Q: Does Oxo sell glass lids for these as separately?

Lodge sells a 12” glass lid that I use for my cast iron skillet as well as this 12” Oxo skillet.

Q: Can you get a good sear on meat with these? Coz it says to only use medium heat.

I do. I put a small amount of oil in the pan...maybe a teaspoon or tablespoon. On my range I use medium high heat. I put the meat in the pan when it's hot and oil is shimmering. I sear for 2 minutes then flip and 2 minutes. If the sear isn't enough, 2 more minutes on each side then I finish the cooking in the oven. This pan does well in the oven...I've even had it in there at 400. Steaks are fantastic...so is chicken and almost all other meats you sear. These pans were rated the absolute best at America's Test Kitchen testing. They are the best I've owned.
