Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick (Kimchi)

Beautiful color, but be aware this is not a full sized lipstick.

I think this is my second Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche lipstick, but I like these so much I have two more on the way. (Mine is in the color Kimchi, which is a bright, hot pink. That color may not be for everyone, but my comments about the formula should be fairly universal.)This goes on smoothly. I suppose there is a slight problem with feathering/migration by the end of the day, with some of the darker/brighter colors, but no worse than brands like Urban Decay, Lancome, Tarte, etc. So you may want to get a lip liner if you are planning on wearing one of the brighter colors. Urban Decay has a lot of matching colors, and there is a Lipstick Queen liner that is colorless that would also work. Or, if you are only wearing this for a few hours, you probably don't need the liner.The pigmentation is wonderful. This does transfer when you eat or drink, but it isn't too bad, and that happens with almost all lipsticks, anyway. You probably would want to carry a mirror for touch-ups (this isn't a color to put on without a mirror!) if you are going to be eating or drinking.But the main reason I love this so much (aside from the color) is that the formula is really moisturizing. It just glides on and is so comfortable to wear. It doesn't settle in creases on my lips, and it doesn't dry my lips out at all. I don't feel the need to put gloss over the top or balm underneath -- it isn't needed (this has a matte finish, normally).Please note this retails for twenty-six bucks, normally, so do some comparison shopping before committing to a purchase.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this lipstick. I got this back in my May Sephora Play Box and I’m seriously still obsessed. First of all, I love this color. And it probably isn’t one that I would’ve picked out for myself usually because of how bright it is. Secondly, how amazing is it that the ingredients are all food grade? That’s seriously something we don’t think about enough but you “eat” some of your lipstick whether or not you mean to so shouldn’t all lipsticks be made of food grade ingredients?? Hats off to Bite for that. On top of those two things, this has an amazing color payout and crazy staying power. It doesn’t feather at all and I don’t need to reapply throughout the day. So impressed and I am a forever fan of Bite Amuse Bouche because of this! Please note that this is overpriced for this product and I recommend purchasing elsewhere - such as directly from Sephora.
