Love these sponges! Good for exfoliating and not too abrasive. Good size for the hand and durable material and thickness.

This is a great exfoliating sponge. Fits nice in the hand, holds lots of soapy suds, and feels good on the body. It’s scratchy so I don’t use it every time I shower but is good for a super exfoliating clean when needed.

I tend to use Korean exfoliating towels or scrub mitts so I'm accustomed to a bit more abrasion in the shower but really enjoyed this sponge. While I enjoy the Korean products, they aren't usually padded or spongey so I feel like they're at one of the opposite ends of the spectrum of not sudsy enough (mitt), or impossible to rinse out (towel). This purchase was mainly to get a nice lather without using too much product while maintaining a nice exfoliation to keep skin smooth and flake free. Easy to use with a nice grip and nice lather. It's not overwhelmingly sudsy, but a quarter sized dollop of body wash was a perfect amount and a little occasional squeeze would help release more lather. Not too spongey where it sops up all the water and dilutes the soap too much requiring reapplication. No hook to hang dry, but I have a wired caddy that allows it to dry thoroughly. Not too rough but not as useless as the netted puffy loofahs that just glide over the skin. Might be a little rough if you're used to softer loofahs, but definitely not as rough as some of the natural loofahs or scrubby mitts on the market. Looking forward to seeing how it works long term and how long the scrubby side will stay firm enough before it softens and becomes too spongey.

I had ordered through Amazon the item named "Buf-Puf Double-Sided Body Sponge-1 ea." through Amazon. This was the same item I had previously ordered which came in a green box. Unfortunately, there is another "Buf-Puf Double-Sided Body Sponge-1 ea." which comes in a white and gold box, and is somewhat rougher to the skin touch than that which is in the green. There is otherwise no way to tell the difference in these two products by their packaging description, nor any other that I can determine. Again, unfortunately, this supplier did not distinguish the two items, and sent the product in the White and Gold box instead. (I had ordered two of each, for my own comparison test; both suppliers--there is a different supplier for each product--sent the same white and gold box. Therefore my "scientific" test is shot.)All this preface to tell you that the Buf-Puf is the best bathing appliance since soap, in my opinion. It provides enough abrasion to feel as if you've removed all the body oils and dirt, as well as leaving the skin "tingly". Although I've tried both the rough and smooth sides (the blue and the white sides), I can tell no difference in the feel of the skin afterwards. I suppose women with their softer skin could notice a difference on elbows, knees, and feet; I just could not.In essence, this product is heads and shoulders above a simple washcloth; If I didn't have a Buf-Puf, I'd forego bathing. (Hmmm, maybe that's why I was avoided while awaiting their delivery.)

I’ve been searching for a better loofah but a few years when a similar product I used to buy was no longer available. I tried many products. By far this is the best! The scrubbing side is very aggressive (which one can control with pressure to a point.) The less aggressive other side I do not use. In fact this product for me was superior to sugar scrubs which I sometimes use as it is less messy and easier to travel with (and can be less expensive than store-bought scrubs.)No loofah type product lasts forever but this one seems to last a month or more used 2-3 times very hard per week. The performance shield degrades like all products but it does not she’d like some that I tried.Another great feature is its drying time. Most other loofah type products stay wet for too long which I don’t like as I travel. Squeezing this out rendered it nearly dry, and travel ready after a day on the counter. I also squeeze it out with a towel or tissues wrapped around it before packing it in a ziplock for travel.I am considering cutting it in half as it’s generously sized.I can use on my face with very light pressure and it does a great job keeping my neck clear of shaving bumps.Its made in the USA.
