Clear Cure Goo Epoxy Kit

If you haven't yet, watch the Clear Cure vids on YouTube ;it will give you all of the specifics. The material does have a tacky feel when set but a quick dab of hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol takes care of it. The shipment arrived on time ,however both the outer and inner envelopes were torn in transit allowing one applicator tip and cap to "escape". I contacted the vendor and he promptly replied , offering to make it right. I did not need replacements as I substituted a 16 gauge x 1.5" hypo needle instead and it works better than the standard tips. I store the syringe with the needle on, a ball head sewing pin inserted into the needle and the protective needle cap on; never had any problem with clogging. Be sure not to allow the syringe to be exposed to the UV light while setting your fly. When I use up the goo in the syringes, I will replace them with the squeeze bottle material; I suspect they provide better application. One ,(possibly weird),bonus, the UV light makes a great scorpian hunting light; they glow pale green under UV and you can spot one from 15 feet.

Works particularly well - would like to see a better dispensing system as it is difficult to clean the injection nozzels.

This stuff is GREAT. You can proceed quickly through steps that would have taken hours to let glue dry. With the thick glue you can create "bumps" to direct streamers and places to put eyes.

Got the kit but one of the small red plastic syringe caps was missing. An annoying omission. The product works fine.

Husband uses it for fly tying. He likes the fact that you have some time to work with before the epoxy sets. Will probably be ordering more epoxy soon.

Great stuff. It works great like regular epoxy without the waiting and with more versatility in manipulating it without concern for it setting before you want it to.

This kit is a great beginner set up, and works well.The epoxy cures in 4 seconds tops. Really glad I purchased it!
