Recently bought as a gift to myself for Christmas as I needed a new electric toothbrush. Turns out to be one of the best gifts I’ve ever treated myself to. As everyone will know brushing teeth is a day to day chore that hasn’t varied much over the course of my life. My previous electric toothbtoothbrush not earlier generation OraL B and this incarnation is a game changer.As you would expect from Oral B, who’ve been innovating oral hygiene for many years, the toothbrush is a joy to use and takes a matter of minutes to be set up and ready for use out of the box. The hardest part was typing in my wi-fi password and I can’t blame Oral B for that. It’s use of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and smartphone may be expected from high end products nowadays but Oral B have introduced this in a fun, intelligent and helpful way. It’s a joy to brush my teeth now.An obvious point to consider before purchase is the price of the item. This toothbrush is without a doubt a, maybe even the, high end product for oral hygiene. Given the longevity of Oral B products it’s right to recognise that this is a one-off investment for many years of brushing and over that time the cost is relatively minor, however, it is still expensive at the point of purchase and whilst it will always be down to the individual to decide I would recommend buying it for the following reasons:G - Gamification - Oral B have included a range of awards, medals, journeys within the product to incentivise the task of brushing your teeth. This makes each cleansing session interesting and informative - have I improved, can I try new cleaning approaches, what guide or tip will come next.E - Elegance - This toothbrush is a beautiful and comfortable design. The small touches like the patterning on the handle, and the brush head design add to its attractiveness and make it something to see on your bathroom shelf rather than hidden way in your cabinet.N - Nurture - The design and operation of the toothbrush and accompanying app educates your brushing habits and develops your technique. It trains you resulting in better oral hygiene and better feeling teeth and gums.I - Intuitive - Whilst we all know how to use a toothbrush it’s clear there is still scope to develop and improve our technique. This toothbrush and app provide a wide range of brushing modes, controls, guidance and information within easily accesible menu options on handle or in app.U - Utilitarian - On the one hand it is, after all, just a toothbrush. On the other hand there is tutoring, technique improvements, and beautiful design. It does it’s job very, very well.S - Synchronicity - Oral B has successfully linked the act of toothbrushing to our familiar technology, smart phone app, to challenge and improve our oral hygiene. Simple, elegant design allied to sophisticated statistical monitoring and information provision all done seamlessly.All in all this toothbrush fulfills your brushing and oral cleansing needs and pushes you to do better. It is a joy to use and makes a pleasant distraction from the task of brushing.

This is a high-end electric toothbrush packed with premium features, delivering a fantastic cleaning experience.The brush itself looks really good and comes with a colour display as well as detailed instructions that make for easy set-up and control. The box also includes a set of accessories like a travel case and a charging stand, all in matching colour. It is worth noting that the product only comes with a single brush head and you need to buy spares separately - these will be specific to the iO series too.Some of the staple features are the 7 brushing modes, the pressure sensor and the timer that all help guide you to a most efficient brushing experience. To enjoy the full set of features the brush can offer you need to install the Oral-B app on your smartphone, which offers customisation of the brushing modes, but most importantly also tracks your brushing and provides live coaching via a bluetooth/wifi connection.Another feature I liked in particular is that the charging stand has a smart display so it is capable of delivering the coaching features by itself.All in all, the iO10 is a luxury product - this is also reflected in its price tag - however it does deliver a luxury experience through a comprehensive set of advanced features.

This Toothbrush looks lovely when you first get the box. High quality packaging which you would expect for a top end product. It is easy to use straight out of the box, just plug it in, charge it and away you go. The app is great, but I can't see myself using too many of the brush settings to be honest. I just want a decent clean. I also like the travel case which was high quality and slim. Battery life is good, I charged it when I got it and it has lasted almost a full week with two brushes per day. The only disappointment is I did not particularly rate the whitening qualities of it - maybe I expected too much. I would recommend this to others though

The media could not be loaded. I would never thought toothbrush will need wifi connection for full functionality. Here we are. Proper smart toothbrush with dedicated app and whole report and couch which can help you improve hygiene in your mouth.I actually love whole design and idea. Beautiful color “stardust white” with black dust on rock-like color body. Main unit is very heavy and feels super solid. Looks premium. Best feature is obviously big display on front. You can control most of settings from that position such an cleaning modes and settings to turn Bluetooth ON/OFF.Charging station/main base is brain of whole toothbrush. There it connects with wifi, charge toothbrush and synchronising data from toothbrush and sending it to smartphone via cloud. It also live tracking your cleaning pattern and creating report to help you understand how you cleaning and if there is anything to improve.In box they include 1 head and stand for 2 heads plus nice looking travel case.

Poor app if you are old and cannot move quickly. Constantly getting a bad score because I run overtime with the app. It's very hit and miss whether I get it right or not. Otherwise the toothbrush is good. If you could have as long as you liked without the app criticising you I would rate it more highly.

Wow! My teeth have never felt so clean! I have never owned an electric toothbrush before so it took me a little time to get to grips with it. The toothbrush is lighter than I expected and I love the feedback it gives me on the pressure of my brushing. The battery life is great and it charges really quickly. It also helps that it is quite a handsome addition to my bathroom!
