Been using form ear plugs for years. But they make my ears itchy and sore. These don't.Come with 2 pairs and 4 pairs of tips for each. I think the idea is to use the largest tip your ear can take.When in your ear you need to move around until you can feel like a air tight seal. That's when they work perfectly. They block the sound as much as any form ones I've used. I sleep on my side. I only feel them if I put them twisted. If I put in the correct way I don't feel them. Would be buying again when I lose these ones. Which I will. I know one day I put them in, i will wake up not knowing where they went.

These block out zero noise, there was absolutely no difference to the volume I could hear with them in and without them.
