This looks a great solution until you place in line with a live swimming pool and the amount of flow simply is to much for the device to handle and it blows - which wasn't great - hence wouldn't recommend to use with any kind of high volume water system - gardens water supply etc, fine but not on a live high impact pool line - anyway might work for whatever your needs are but be careful

Does not fit std 40mm/1 1/2 solvent weld pipe!!!!!!
As the title says. But as I had already cut the filter feed pipe to put this valve in I had to make it fit!!! Luckily an inch and a 1/4 fitting was a snug fit in the valve so using several reducers and some inch and 1/4 pipe, which isn't ideal, it is now fitted.Not very happy.It should state that although its 40mm id it doesn't fit std 40mm solvent waste pipe, as all other 40mm/inch 1/2 fittings I have ever purchased do.

Doesn't fit 32mm pool hose
Bought this to save a bit of money thinking i could join my 2 pool tubes using this. My mistake! It does not fit my 32mm pool hose. The opening for this product is 32mm thus it will not fit.It is a good quality but didn't work for my intended purpose. And can't even return it.

Easy to use.
Very well made.Used on grey waste pipe on motorhome.Works really well.Easy to join to pipe using solvent glue.
