This sleep mask is great! I washed it with gentle dish detergent and warm water then let it dry in the sun. It is sculpted so that there is a hollow area in front of the eyes to allow blinking. That leaves a soft surrounding that helps relax the eyes with warmth. The silky lining allows easy comfort against the skin, and the mask is designed so that there is total darkness for the user. It is completely effective for daytime naps as well as nighttime sleep. As an added bonus it fits with my CPAP mask so that sleep is extra comfortable. I bought the coral color, and my husband has the black version. We both recommend this sleep mask without reservation.

I have been thinking about gettig a sleep mask for some time, but I didn't think it would be helpful or do anything amazing to help me sleep better. Was I wrong. I'm at a time in mine life where sleep is patchy at best, often wakeful at random hours in the night and it seems like every little light from anywhere seeps into closed eyes when I'm trying to get back to bed. I have had this mask for four nights now and have worn it each night and my getting to sleep intially and getting back to sleep in the night after randomly waking has been transformative with this mask. I didn't realize my brain needed this amount of near total darkness for sleep. I actually feel more rested since I have been wearing this mask each night. I think the dark ciricle under my eyes have gone away.The mask is light weight, almost spongey feeling, and soft. The headband is wide and stays on well throughout the night. Inside the mask there are recesses for where your eye sockets are, so your eyes can open when the mask is on, you can blink with it on, your eyes do not feel squished at all. I opted for black and when the mask is on there is no light seeping in at all. Total darkness. No gaps on the nose or at the edges of the eyes, so absolutely no light gets in. I am a side and stomach sleeper and the mask has stayed on all night even through switching positions. I don't recall readjusting it in the night unless I'm getting up and need to see. This mask is wonderful for blocking out the light from screens, like TVs/tablets/phones, if you share a bed with a partner who likes the TV on to sleep, but you don't. The only detraction I can think of is the plastic slide that is used to adjust the headband can be in a place where it could dig into your head if you lay on it long enough, but a quick adjustment will get it to a spot that is more comfortable for you. Oh, and depending on how you sleep it can leave a crease on your face when you wake up in the morning, but no different than what a pillowcase would give you. Buy one. You don't know how much you needed this until you start wearing one for yourself.

I love the way this eye mask totally blocks out light. It fits on my face so well that I get complete darkness and can sleep so much better than I do without it. Well made and comfortable, it doesn’t press on my eyes at all.

I've long been apprehensive about ordering a sleep mask. The ones I've tried on have always been extremely uncomfortable, as the fabric tends to press against my eyelids. I've never been able to get accustomed to wearing one. Further, I tend to sleep on my side, and often wriggle on to my stomach in a sort of ¾-face-down position, which would knock any regular sleep mask badly anew.Enter the LitBear Sleep Mask for Side Sleeper. (And the audience went wild.)I was a little worried about ordering it because I read several negative reviews about how the adjustment slide is uncomfortable, how the elastic rides up or down and bothers one's ears, and more, so I was not expecting a great trial run.I was AMAZED at how comfortable it was, how quickly I adapted to wearing it, and how COMPLETELY it blocked out the light! In fact, I had left my window blinds open to see if I would detect when the room began getting lighter the next morning; but what happened was that when I awoke, since I could not detect that the room had lightened at all, I went ahead and foolishly took off the mask with my eyes wide open to welcome the barely beginning dawn.AAUUGGHHH! I have overslept. It was well past 11:00, and my room was as bright as midday! It was worse than suddenly turning on the overhead lights after one's eyes have acclimated to the dark. But, it was a good lesson for me, and I am now much more careful when I remove the mask.I think it is THE BEST!

These are great! They are comfortable and completely block out the light. They are very effective in helping me go back to sleep if I wake during the night. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the elastic around the back only lasted 6 months on my husband’s who wears it nightly all night. But that may be one reason they are so comfortable is that they aren’t binding.

Moved from a house to an apartment and I no longer have blackout curtains and I can’t sleep with any light. I was hesitant to buy a mask because in the past they were always uncomfortable and would fall off. Not this one! It is secure and so comfortable you forget it’s on. I actually sleep BETTER now than I did at my house because it blocks out 100% of light. I also love that you can have your eyes open with the mask on it’s not restrictive at all.That’s not even the best part though! My boyfriend came to visit me for the first time so I bought him a mask too. He is one of the most restlesss sleepers I’ve had to sleep with. He tosses and turns and depending on how aggressive his dreams are he will whack me, push against me, and/or constantly steal all the covers. He will also be up 3-4 hrs of the night lying awake. Last night he put the mask on and he already loved how comfortable it is and says he wants it for his house too. But he slept so peacefully!! Omg finally a night without his tossing and turning and blanket stealing!!! He barely moved all night and he actually slept straight through. This mask just saved our relationship when it comes to co sleeping. Now I love it even more!!

I've only been using it for a week now but it works great so far. The design makes it decently comfortable to wear in where there's not any contact with your eyes as you sleep and it does its job of blocking out light very well.

Light comes through the bottom regardless of whether you are on your side or your back. Its not a lot, but its slightly annoying. Its a comfortable mask and has plenty of eyelash room for me.

Fits great and blocks light really well. Very comfortable to wear as a first time sleep mask user

Pros: They are light, soft, comfy and don't slip off as easy as other eye masks from front and side sleeping. Cons: I have longer eye lashes and they touch. A small amount of light does come through the bottom but it doesnt bother me too much. Theres a faint smell thats not bad imo and I dont notice it unless I actually try to smell it. I havent washed them yet so cant tell you about the durability.
