Q: will it fit on a squat power rack

This fits every standard power rack. If the dimensions of your rack are a little different it may not. We have never had one returned because it didn't fit a bar. It is 51" from the inside of one weight horn to the other. And about 5" from one weight horn to the Grip. So about 5" on each side to place the bar down.

Q: On the description it listed the bar weight as 22 lbs, is that correct and does it feel solid?

They used an axle bar as the ends welded to rectangular tube steel. Handles are tube steel also. Nothing solid like a traditional Olympic bar. It is about 25 lb. Was also surprised. Missed the weight spec in description. Was expecting at least Olympic bar weight.

The capacity is at least 400 pounds. I don't know where you noticed it was 150 pounds but we has sold a lot of these with no issue with the capacity at 400 pounds. It is probably more then 400 pounds but we like to be on the safe side.

Q: How wide is the cut out in the middle?

The steel tube in the middle is 4" long.
