I was very tired of regular cotton terry towels. They are sooo heavy when wet which puts unnecessary strain on my washer, they take forever to dry, and they were making an insane amount of lint - I could see clouds of "fabric dust" when shaking them out after a wash & dry. Plus I live in a small space and they take up a lot of precious closet space. So I was looking for something better, happened on these "Turkish" towels, and gave them a try. I LOVE them. They take some getting used to as they don't have that heavy, soft & fluffy feel we're all used to with a regular bath towel but here's the thing - they dry you off just as good if not better and that's the primary purpose of a towel. These are light-weight and "flat", they feel like a sheet but much more supple. If you can psychologically adapt to the different feel these are a game changer. These are large enough to wrap around your body and because they are thin you can do the wrap & tuck around your waist and it actually stays put. These are great for wrapping your wet hair in, too. I fold one in half, flip my hair over, wrap it, return to normal position, and then tuck the remaining tail end of towel in under itself and it stays put until I am ready to take it down and dry/style my hair. It works MUCH better than the old cotton terry towels that were heavy and bulky and I needed to use a stretchy fabric headband to help hold the towel on until I was ready to take it off. When I'm done I hang them outside and they dry in no time. I purchased these towels a year ago and use them every day. They have been machine washed & dried countless times and are still lint-free, no clouds of fabric dust with these, and despite hanging in the Florida sun daily they haven't faded yet either. My husband thought the fringe tassels would become a problem, getting tangled and knotted together, but that hasn't happened. To both of our surprise they remain separate, tangle-free, and none are even frayed. Also, I can fold all four flat and keep them in the same space that one heavy terry bath towel used to take up. The roughly $10 per towel I paid for this set of four was well worth it as they are versatile, easy to care for, quick to dry, don't stress my washer, haven't faded, haven't got linty, and take up little space when not in use. Highly recommend giving these a try.

I haven't had Turkish cotton towels before but they remind me of restaurant kitchen towels. Kind of that same texture so far. Size is wonderful. My tassels were knotted & haven't unraveled yet. It isn't as absorbent as a terrycloth towel, not fluffy & snuggly, but great to wear or lie down on while drying off in the sun. These do come with chair straps, I haven't used those yet. I do recommend.

I really like these towels. They felt kinda rough when I took them out of the packet, but once they are washed, they are nice. Not as soft as I hoped for, but still really nice. They absorb ok. Took longer to dry than expected. I keep one with me at all times. Have used it as a shawl, wrap, blanket etc. Very versatile. My kids like them too. I keep them rolled up in my car, large bag, etc. Very nice.

This was a nice beginning of the summer purchase so that grandchildren coming to visit could each have a towel for swimming and bathing. Worked out perfectly. Everyone picked a color and kept track of their own. These are beautifully colorful towels and look great in groups. Because they're made of a thin but absorbent weave, you can get all of them bunched onto a single towel bar, if needed. They wash and dry well. Always wash and dry these separately the first time... after that they just get tossed in with all the other clothes. No signs of wear after three months.

Love the colors! The quality is great! It really absorbs well and dries out very fast. They are thin but it’s what I was looking for so they fit in my beach bag great and dry fast! I actually bought more!

They are good value for money. The quality is pretty nice. The material cause some dust but i believe it will be better as we wash them more. Colors were very vibrant. Not very thick. 100% cotton and real Turkish. Happy purchase.

I originally bought 4 for the summer to take to the beach and to my surprise, they really are sandless and dry incredibly fast! I fell in love with these so much I replaced my terry cloth towels and purchased 8 of these light brown ones. They take up so much less space in the linen cabinet, dry so fast and absorb moisture without multiple friction on your skin. I’ve washed several times and they really do get softer over time! I will never buy or pack a bulky terrycloth towel again! These are my favorite towels now

These towels are cheap, but with the price it’s expected. The fringe unraveled after the first wash. My good towels are packed up so I ordered these to use at the beach and pool. They are serving their purpose for a summer. I don’t think these towels will hold up for long. I do like that they are thin and fit well in a suitcase.

These towels are awesome for anything. I use mine for the beach and pool. They are so light weight that they fit in my swim bag without taking up so much room and they are very large so you can wrap yourself after swimming and the look awesome. They would be perfect for camper and travel. I will definitely be buying more.
